    The Democratic Ninja

    So the weather's good for shipping again and I've been thinking it's time I ninja someone. I could do the normal surprise box to someone, but I wanted to be a little bit creative with this one.

    This "Democratic Ninja" box will go to a person of your choosing. Send me a BM with the name of a Locals BIF member you think is deserving of a ninja box. I'll tally up the names at the end and the person whose name shows up most will be the unsuspecting winner. In the case of a tie, I'll randomly pick one of the names.

    I'll be accepting names until 7PM EST on Sunday the 15th.

    No rush guys I'm just trying to get everyone involved, I'm stuck in a cabin with my family for 9 days so I need to keep my sanity somehow, I mean besides drinking.

    The worst part is, we have another couple coming Thursday and he is into beer but doesn't seek it out(yet) and I have a shitload of beer to drink with them and i'm just staring at it wishing I could drink it.

    Haha I already drank 1 Sip of Sunshine, CCB Evander(which was horrible), Last Snow and a Pliny. My friend loves Untappd and has a bunch of friends back in Chicago who are huge beer geeks so I wanted him to be able to check in a ton of shit he's never had. I also have a Chocolate Rain, Dark Lord and Black Tuesday we are going to drink that are in a different box.

    So seriously -- you need to figure out how much you're gonna drink with this guy -- if you have "too much" for the days you are splitting anyway, you might as well drink a few things ahead of time. And the smaller cans/bottles are the obvious choice. I would send him a picture of the small ones and ask if he minds you drinking any of them -- and if you save the "high profile" ones like Heady Topper and Sip of Sunshine, I think it is reasonable for you to drink (for example) the Jai Alai, Swami, and 077XX.

    And honestly, if he (and/or you) love one of these, I suspect somebody in this group can supply you...

    I've got some other shelf stuff to drink, I'll be fine haha. He loves IPA's so I wanted to give him a chance to try all those.
