What's up in Bellingham?

And in Bellingham you're only an hour away from Vancouver (Where we get Ale Apothecary and Washington doesn't - hehe)

 

And, you get Brooklyn, which we don't.

 

I just moved to Bellingham at the beginning of the year with my wife and we have been loving it. Coming from Colorado, our expectations were high, but for the most part, we've been blown away. Have tried to get everywhere we can, but as @beertunes said, you will find good beer everywhere.

We are walking distance to most places, and really enjoying it here. I think our favorite brewery so far is Chuckanut, with Wander being a very, very close 2nd. Gotta love Boundary Bay, they are the original. Aslan is constantly changing, which is OK, but I would like to see more consistently good products rather than a bunch of "meh" products. Kulshan has been hit or miss for us.

For bottles, Elizabeth Station is great, as is Greene's Corner, which has an awesome selection, but also makes a bunch of food onsite. I don't think we've been disappointed at any place we've been to. Coming from Boulder, this feels very much like a home away from home for us.

Oh and where can I get Brooklyn in BC? I've only been up a couple times, but haven't stumbled into a great bottle shop so far.
