I was just thinking that I cannot recall ever seeing a commercial for beer other than BMC beers. Perhaps it is a regional thing as far as what breweries do to advertise their beer, but has anyone out there seen a commercial for a beer that was not a BMC beer? Please enlighten me if so.

Oh, you're right. There's one everywhere right now. I think I'm repressing that one, because it annoys the hell out of me.

We get a few Abita commercials here--mostly just BMC and Sam Adams, though.

Breckenridge has a few out there, not that I've seen them locally. This one for instance:

We don't even get those commercials here in Denver, not sure where they are aired. Maybe just online?

my other half is Andy Griffith...and his last words were "only shitty beer needs to advertise"...so I shouldn't be scolded for this

Breckenridge is alright in my books. I enjoyed their macro parodies that were posted online. Not a big fan of most of their offerings, but their Vanilla Porter and Oatmeal stout are extremely sessionable and tasty offerings.

Just saw this the other day on our local cable station and was more surprised when I saw it on tap. (There goes the neighborhood.)

Dogfish Head had a short-lived series of infomercials called Brew Masters.

Those in neighboring Lancaster County 'outta love that one. For those of you not familiar with our area, think "Amish" and "Mennonite", if still no idea, look it up online. Pretty darn funny video!!!! :stuck_out_tongue:

AFAIK Sam Adams is the only 'craft' brewer doing national advertising. Sometimes those ads kind of bug me, but then I realize they're pretty much the only beer commercials you see that ever talk about the quality of the beer as a selling point.
