too bad they are a few years too late for me...have not had them in the rotation in a while and not about to...

Raise prices one year and make changes customers require a year or two later...hmm??

well its about time they started bottle dating. that is, even though most here would probably argue that it is my fault if I buy an old IPA that isn't bottle dated.

Just saw my first 4 pack of bottle dated WC IPA here on Long Island! Now I can safely go back to buying one of my favorite IPAs again. Thanks Green Flash!

Yeah Green Flash is pretty much golden, in my book, now that they've started bottle dating. Seriously can't complain.

If IPAs are not selling, the retailers will eventually drop it. So, be a freshness snob if you must, but dont expect businesses to cater to it. They may not go looking for a brand with dates on it, but drop the style as a whole.

No date issues with Rayon Vert. I also picked up a saison today. I also pass on the Ipa's. I started passing on the tap ipa also as it just does not have the wow it used to. Don't want to say its old but it does not have much going for it compared to what I remember it being a few years ago.

    Enjoy

My guess is the last 5 numbers of the Julian code. 10414, 104th day of 2014 so somewhere around mid March of last year. Shits going to have a birthday soon.

What does the label look like? They revamped all of them a few months ago, and other than the background color they all look pretty much identical to the one I posted

The bottles I've seen recently have a place on the label for a bottled on date, but no date is printed on them. It's frustrating because I like their beer and want to buy it.

They finally fixed that as I see their new bottles all have the dating on them. I would be wary of any labels without the date because those are fron when they first made the label change which has been awhile now.

Well it's funny you say that because I was in the store the other day looking at West Coast IPA and they had both new and old label bottles, neither of which had dates. Nor did any other beer from Green Flash they had. Since I couldn't remember which were new labels and which were old I didn't buy any. So that's good to know that now they should have dates.

It's Total Wine, which turns over a ton of beer, so I'm sometimes surprised to see such old stuff. I always see really old Lakefront Brewing, which I love, but can't buy because I've actually gotten bad bottles. I let Lakefront know and they were really surprised at the dates I was seeing. Ah well.
