Box hit Boston from @Clarkson today. I don't have any wants that aren't everybody's wants, so I just wanted him to hit my favorite styles and get some new beers to try. And the man delivered:


Whataburger Sauce
Armadillo Quakertown Stout - big fan of double stouts
Prairie Funky Gold Amarillo - like Prarie, like funk
Temptress / Raspberry Temptress - I see a horizontal in my future
Saint Arnold Pumpkinator - don't like most pumpkin beers, but a pumpkin stout seems interesting
Crowler of Martin House Salty Lady - never heard of the brewery but I like gose.
Funkwerks Saison - new brewery, like funk
Barrel Aged Legion - if I had a specific list of wants, this would be on it
Funkwerks Tropic King - see above
Saint Arnold's Divine Reserve 15 - somehow I missed this one on my trip to Austin, definitely a want
Crowler of Peticolas Velvet Hammer - never heard of this brewery either so I'm excited to try

I could not have imagined a better first box upon joining the locals. Thanks Josh!

I didn't know they rented fork lifts at HD

 

I meant for concrete, 2x4s, and rebar, to repair my decimated porch.... the box I got a few neighborhood guys and together we just rolled into the house, no forklift would have lifted that beast.

 

I'm assuming the box from you that was waiting on my porch was for the Circlemasixerjerky thing.

Well you were certainly tough- you had ZERO wants. And weren't that impressed with TX beer while you were here. Hopefully that'll teach ya.

That Quakertown won gold at GABF this year, Temptress and Hammer are regarded as our best Locals. Was pretty unsure of Pumpkinator, but it's a TX fav.

I was saving this one for my Friday after work beer, but today warranted popping this bad boy open. I might poke fun at you Yanks, but ya'll know how to do an IPA. I don't know what it is, but every NE IPA I've had has been phenomenal, this one no exception. Thanks again @mklisz

I bet @twofacedmonster is furious with me. I got home and saw a few boxes at my doorstep. I was able to open two of them before heading up to Pizza Boy bpt I meet a buddy and do an IP trade. From there had to go to my brothers house and hang for a few. Then I had to return some stuff to the lurker @Mipper and he opened a Hop Juju with me. Returning home I hadn't eaten so I made some dinner. I'll get to the box soon I promise

 

Nothing is more heartwarming than seeing a beer, that has reached such high trading values you have to wipe out serious stock just to get one, be gifted. Awesome stuff Man!

Dreams are made up of packages like this. I cant wait to dream about having a VR to call my own tonight. He would look so great in my cellar next to the prop i just traded my left nut for.
