Bottle Logic Anniversary Week 3/22 - 3/28

Awesome, looking forward to this! Are you having Darkstar growler fills? Also, what are the "prizes" you're giving away with the passport stamps?

 

I'll let them give the official answer but I see NO WAY they are doing growler fills of darkstar. They only kept a few barrels back so if they did that no one would get to try it.

 

Shhhh, don't jinx it man. I'm a firm believer in anything being possible, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

 

I'm not jinxing anything, I'm just being realistic. Thats like asking the Bruery to do growler fills for everyone of Black Tuesday Reserve...it just isn't going to happen.

 

Sadface....but can't say that I'm surprised.

 

I mean, you could always just go to Mr. K or the other various stores in Orange County that still have bottles, pop them open and put them in a growler if that's your kink.

 

Damn. So, what's with the passport thing I saw on the website?

 

It seems pretty easy to figure out...

You get a piece of paper and for each day you go they stamp it. At the end there's some benefit for those who have various stamps.

Also, who the hell wants a growler of Darkstar? I mean, I love the fact that it's a 500ml. Means that it's a perfect two 8oz pour of a delicious beer. I wish the Bruery would follow suit and give those beteus power house beers that same treatment. I'd want to open a Mocha Wednesday or Chocolate rain in a non-bottle share setting.

That being said, I was the person who said growlers WOULDN'T happen. With that small of a batch, there was no way they could. I don't even think they did growlers of regular darkstar unless it happened after the launch.

 

Also, just to make sure I'm reading this right, the Sunday is just the same Darkstar 14 we have had before right? The special one is the last day, the Saturday, right?

I really like the one week celebration of Logic's anniversary. But unfortunately I will be in NYC the entire week. I might be back in time for the last day, 28th. Depending on how tired I am and what is left at the tasting room. But I should have plenty of Green Diamond cans from the big apple.

 

@CraftyJoseph so the new darkstar would be available this sunday in bottles or will it see distrobution

 

I'm not sure where you're getting that, but it sounds like it's going to be pouring only on draft. The only new bottle to be released by Bottle Logic is Ideation the following Saturday to close out the festivities.

If you're really in search for more bottles, Mr. K, a stone's throw away from the Bottle Logic, still had plenty as of this past weekend.
