Dear lord, was this a trade or did you find it all on the shelf somewhere? Either way, what did it cost you?

Oh, here's my haul from a quick IP trade today in Chicago

Most of the lambic, as well as the Struise bottles, were ordered from EtreGourmet. All of it cost an obscene amount of money but, ya know, it's lambic . The Xyauyu Silver I found in a bottle shop (for $42).

    Birthday haul:

No whales or insanely rare stuff because that is how I roll(already got Frangelic earlier this week). Surprised to find some Belgo anise IRS, wonder if it got any better(though I really enjoyed it fresh anyway). The meantime is london porter. Been stocking up on De Proef lately; and I still have 1 or 2 signatures to get, but they are available. The Fluxus and Bieken were on clearance so I said sure.

Picked up a case of 20 sixteen ounce bottles of Stift Schlagl red ale--for an insanely low price of $12:99 and a case of Weltenburger Pils for the same price. No dates, never drank the stuff before but how could I pass it up? I'm very happy with both brews.

So i was out this morning to try to find some daisy cutter. On my way home i stop in a random bar. i see 3 Floyds DL LD on a chalk menu on the ceiling. I figured it was just an advertisement. I asked the bartender, he said yea we got it, you can take a bottle home if you want. He walked down with a 2009. Unbelievable. At a VERY reasonable price. Good beer day.
