So here in Wisconsin New Glarus, Central Waters and Kareben4 (and all the little guys get all the love.

So far today I have had a Surly Abrasive, Great Lakes Chillwave, Dales, Indeed Let It Ride and Ale Asylum Valveteen Habit... Besides Abrasive, Ale Asylums beer is by far the best.

I know people like them but I wonder if the fact they do not do anything crazy and stick to the four main ingredients hurts them?

Hoppalicious is a very good APA

Bedlam is easily one of the best Belgian IPAs ever made

Ambergeddon a great hippy amber, similar to Alpha King in flavor

Madtown Nutbrown, nice brown very true

Contorter Porter, have you looked at the abv! Damn that is a good beer

Their seasonals are usually good to great as well!

    Now what thinks you.

They're very good, but sort of boring. Aside from Big Slick, I rarely feel like they're a beer I really want to have when I go out. They make good solid beer but seem to rarely stray from things that are safe and pleasing to the general public.

They are very good in a sea of very good beers. I like a Bedlam and Hopalicious occasionally, but by no means are they the best in their categories. Try Little Crazy if like Bedlam, it is better. I was not a big fan of Valveteen Habit, too malty for me. Would take those other beers you drank over Valveteen.

They now have an outlet in Milwaukee. I haven't been there yet, so I can't comment on it. I hope to get there soon!

I agree that Bedlam is excellent – it's a go-to beer for us. In fact I'd characterize it as more or less a poor man's King Sue.

(Little Crazy isn't comparable to Bedlam – while it is a Belgian PA, it's not single-hop citra.)

Bedlam with a splash of OJ goes outstandingly well with Sunday brunch. :-)

I give them plenty of love, a pretty regular place in the old beer fridge. Love their Unshadowed.

In Madison, they get plenty of love. K4 may taken some of it. The new beers this year should help regain some interest.

Bedlam is an excellent beer - now as a year round offering the lack of freshness seems to be an issue in my area. Don't mind Hoppalicious or Ambergeddon from time to time. Overall AA just doesn't land in my shopping cart very often.

Bedlam is great. I even like Unshadowed in summer from time to time.

Ale Asylum is my favorite brewery, way better than overrated breweries like CW and K4.

Good, standard "regular" styles of beer. They are solid, but people there's no hype, no limited releases or anything the community overall would deem exciting. I revisit their amber, porter, brown, etc. but there is a lot of competition between other breweries all making those styles, about the same, or better.

I agree with this. They haven't brought out many new beers recently because they've been focused on their expansion, and I'm hopeful that the updated seasonals program is sign of good things to come. I'm really excited for Pantheon in bottles in May.
Not sure yet how I feel about the special event they're trying this summer for the Imperial Stout release. It would be great if they come out with a really amazing beer, but nothing in their history suggests to me that this is a style they'd excel at. I will give them the benefit of the doubt at least once though. Fingers crossed it's really good.

I for one am excited for Hopalicious cans, really enjoy that beer and will be perfect for summer tailgates and whatnot.

I sell a ton of it out here in the Chicago burbs. I think they make great beer and so do my customers. $8.99 a 6 pack is just an added bonus!

I picked up a sixer of Satisfaction Jackson a while back. If I recall correctly, I paid $15.99 in Hudson for what I thought was a so-so DIPA. Not saying I wouldn't try their other offerings, but that price was pretty steep!

TripelNova and Mercy are both outstanding options for their respective styles when available.

They may not get as much love here as others do but they seem to be doing just fine considering they just went through a huge expansion a couple years ago, entered the Chicago market, and opened a restaurant in Milwaukee recently. Most of their beers are pretty solid. To me the reason they don't get as much on BA is that they brew mostly hoppy beers, which is clearly the most popular style in craft beer, making it harder to stand out among a million other beers of the same style.

I may give you CW, but as has been discussed previously on BA, they are known mostly for their barrel-aging and sours. K4 on the other hand, Fantasy Factory is decent but I haven't been impressed at all by their other offerings imho.
