Little update on my LIF... so I was told I'd hit a brick wall around 10-11 15s or so... which I did. However, I got up to 14 today, so sorry to anyone that guessed less than 14.

Unfortunately for @Dave_Treat , anyone who guessed over 100 are probably not looking too good right now either...

 

Glad you liked it and glad the box was intercepted by da fuzz. FYI, that Country Boy BA Black Gold Porter is the Espresso Beans variant. Hope you enjoy, as it was my favorite of their releases

So this morning I left home in a hurry, leaving @mbmiche's box unpacked. I came back from work eagerly anticipating to open an awesome box and to my surprise - there were now two:



I proceed to open the smaller box first, which I noticed was from @NJB145 - apparently @Syracuse12 won a LIF of his and decided to redirect it ninja style over to me - thank you so much to both!

On to the trade box for @mbmiche - you probably saw his post yesterday and as he mentioned, it was pretty open ended. I was to include some Fremont BA goodies and all I knew he was sending was 2 AB Noirs.

Well - my porch took a massive, MASSIVE hit with his box. @whyteboy003 style, how the f$ck did you fit all that in the small box within the big box!?

On mobile so can't quote, but I never got it nick, I stopped searching after getting my moving parts 3 -- it wasn't a huge priority for me, especially after the BBA mouflan. Speaking of that -- I still have a 4 pack of that for you if you still want it, I see you got some as you were sending some around (and it was available for some time... possibly still idk) so if not I can find it another home, but I need an excuse to hit pizza boy any chance I can get!

 

@HoppySeb enjoy! I won too many LIFs in a short period of time. I felt like you were a good ninja candidate as you've had to drink more Polar then any one person should have to.

I'm familiar with 3 beers, rest are new and some I've never heard of till today:


Packing was excellent, box within a box and 2 bags.

These BIFs and group has been eye opening, never heard of SingleCut, psyched to try it. Craft deviant (OP) has no idea what he started.

Rushing Duck Ded Moroz Imp Stout: Perfect for the cold, will bring this with me to Big Bear end of this month.
Sloop Brewing Black Razz: Also packing for Big Bear, nothing like a ripe fruity beer to enjoy in the mountains.
Plan Bee: At last, I'm joining the club of Plan Bee drinkers, there was so many pron of this beer a few few pages back and happy to join the club. I thought the name of this beer was Plan Bee, but it's Flower City.
Evil Twin Biscotti: De What version? DiCicco with chili and hazelnuts...total want!
SingleCut Beersmiths: 2 IPAs, East Coast hop bombs, looking forward to NY's finest.
Captain Lawrence Barrel Select Pomegranate: Nothing better than an antioxidant brew, waiting for Almanac to bring out this version. Meantime, easy to pop this open at 12oz and enjoy after work.
Maine Beer Another One: Appropriate, had 6 different Maine Beers, this one is a first. Don't mind to have 'Another One'

Permawants
Prairie Bomb: I feel if I finish these it will leave me wanting more, hence permahoard and time to start enjoying these.
KBS: Top beer in my book
Big Gruesome: Love peanut butter, Reese's Cup, can't wait to open this one. First time to try it, especially since I have one in my cellar.

I happened to have access to those last 3, which were all wants of yours but not really local for me (I got multiple Big Gruesomes from @LehighAce06 , the others I procured myself). And I really wanted to Include Maine Lunch, but couldn't find i, gave up and settled for Another One. The others are true locals. I just discovered those Single Cuts and love them.

 

Guess I'm out... I was about to ask if anyone had 14 and if you could just stop playing, but then I remembered that you're doing closest without going under

 

I have no clue what I guessed -- I used to keep track of all my LIF guesses but with this group I would have exhausted all the space on my hard drive

 

I felt bad doubling you up on the same bottle between two boxes, so I'm glad to see one go to good use

 

You sent out a shitkilo of boxes in a couple of weeks, plus one box was completely unwarranted, so I was glad to Beer It Forwatd!

 

Yeah that was a fun month... I don't like the packing part all that much, but the sending part I do

Which was unwarranted? The LIF win that you won fair and square? Or the thank you box for doing the most legwork* I've ever seen in assigning BIF targets? And don't forget that the latter of the two was not even (entirely) my money, but the excess of the funds collected to defray Alaskan shipping charges, so that box came from everyone


*That legwork was, in my opinion, well worthwhile by the way.

 

Yes I would still like those four! Let me know when you'll be in town next or I can meet you in Hershey and/or York.
