    @Mikexw - so the second subject whom i sent a Bellevue Scotch Ale this week had it today. Its less than stellar and i seem to have gotten a case of the "closest brewery syndrome". You'll get a small box to make up for that miss with a 95+ rated brew in the near future. Cheers!

    I've definitely had that syndrome before with numerous locals. Not to say that any are necessarily bad, but that in my mind (especially if it's been a while since I'd had them) they would have ranked as comparable to beers that in reality are far superior.

    I drank one of these for the first time tonight as well. Such great flavors in it. Sweet melon, touch of honey and i got a little black pepper note. One tasty beer for sure. Cheers

    Great coffee flavor, if not perhaps a touch thin, though no bitterness from the coffee at all.

    I live in IL and buy Pipeworks every week and wasn't able to land the Barrel Aged Jones Dog. The chase was nuts! Nice box @mbmiche.
