Hoppin Frog's never gets any love but is awesome...

My other favorite mix was GLBC Christmas Ale with BA Blackout.

 

hoppin frog's ready made black n tan is prettty awesome but i think adding siberian night to white rajah has to be in my glass soon!!

A couple of above average beers made into a concoction... sounds like any given day in Ohio.

 

Everyone knows that nothing stunning ever came out of Ohio. Maybe Black Keys but that's about it.

 

Their music may be good, but hear the guys are pretty big D-bags.

 

Good to know, like their tunes myself but I am sick of people worshiping them.

 

How about B.O.R.I.S and Columbus IPA? have done it several times, love that mixture.

 

Haha haven't taste Siberian Night, but White Rajah is probably the finest IPA out there, and of the others sharing my favorite top ten none are from Michigan.

If you really want a couple of merely above average beers into a black and white, start with Two Hearted.

 

Ah the state to the south, there are some good people and good beer down there but that is almost painful to say.

I agree White Rajah is a fantastic beer, Head Hunters and Columbus aren't half bad either. I am missing a couple but the IPA game is fairly strong in the state to the south.

Siberian Night has always been the equivalent of a thin bed sheet on a frigid winters night for me. While I can appreciate it I desperately want something more. I have a similar feeling towards many of the stouts of the state.

Mix me up something with Black Out or a Jackie O's stout and I am feeling pretty good about life.

They do Christmas Ale and Blackout at the Winking Lizard in Canton.

 

This sounds good, every year I always mix a few Christmas Ales with some Brooklyn BCS.

Well brother from the North........ I know after Rozi's had their "Founder's Event" a few CBH + KBS Black-and-tans were concocted..... sounds like a delicious combo to me (KBS kicked before I got back there again to try it out....)

Rozi's has BA Siberian Night on.... I guess I could half-and-half it with Head Hunter, which is also on. No sub-par beers there!

Dogfish Head 120 minute IPA and World Wide Stout.

Delaware was and will always be the 1st state and the "Heaven and Hell" Black & Tan will always be #1 in my book.

 

Many forms of incredible music came from Ohio. Thats why they got the R&R Hall of Fame. I know you knew that. I just had to pad my post.
