Dark Lord Day (DLD) 2015

Skipping out on Dark Lord day and heading to Shorts Anniversary party!... FFF has great beer but the last couple Dark Lord days I went to have been major shit shows. Last one was in 2010. Man I hope FFF has gotten it together. FFF and the Dark Lord day patrons deserve a great event.

 

So... Does it matter what group I ended up in? Will i still be able to get my bottles?

 

I had C going since 1:00 exactly, lined up for E five minutes later and that one just went through. See you at 6:30 in line!

 

This is obviously a rookie question, but being in a later group doesn't decrease the potential of being able to purchase one of the barrel variants does it?

 

Group D after a bit of a wait

 

My phone is "still waiting" went on my iPad and grabbed Group C.

 

Group A

 

I'm in the rookie boat too... Curious how this all works.

 

Group D also. @Joker5893 will be joining us.

 

My original request for Group A has now stopped and it says only group D and E are available and to try again.

 

I had 3 computer in line, got bored, got in-line on my phone. My phone got through first. I would like to see the shape/order of the alleged line.

In coming years, I'll begin the tradition of burning en effigy of those responsible for designing whatever processes are used in "accessing the system" as a spirit offering to the Dark Lord. Perhaps that will improve the odds of getting tickets online instead of going full-on stalker outside the Pub. Fourth year shut-out.

 

Group C. Had a window open for A and B and opened a new one and got right through for C. Was really lucky this year.

 

Didn't get A or B...but got two for C. Pretty stoked.

 

Group B tickets! I got in on my mac right away and then was sent to a page that said no tickets were available. The PC managed to stay in queue however and got through silently. Good luck all this was definitely one of the stranger ticket systems

 

I've got my computer still waiting on Group D, phone waiting on Group E. Just tried the iPad and it says "Tickets Currently Not Available."

 

I got tickets but i probably wouldn't have if i didn't fire up a second browser 10 minutes into the waiting. Here is the messed up part though, picked C on mozilla right at noon... waiting waiting... left that browser up. Opened IE picked B, waited for a couple minutes until B sold out. Then picked C while my mozilla was still "waiting" on C. Got right into C. Fuck you etix. And thank you to whoever mentioned the second browser.
