Apparently his last name really is funk. I plan on going to the next release. I may have to do a lif for it to expand the exposure of what Im hoping is a future #whalezbra because they are limited in all their beers and all are awesome.

Disclaimer: I spend very little time in ISO:FT, and base my thoughts on "If I had A would I take B for it and vice versa". I also don't know a ton about Black Gold.

My gut says you're offering too little, but not by much; certainly not by such a margin that you shouldn't put it out there and see what you get.

I would stock up on them indeed. I think wild ale/ sour heads will be willing to give a bit to try these amazing brews. Some of the best American wild ales I ever had.

After having this beer last night, I would say if I could drink only one beer for the rest of my life this would be on a short list. ISO a CASE of Bride Maker.

Then maybe that does have enough pull, I really don't know. Ultimately though my guess is that because SR71 has a ton of hype right now, it'll take other stuff with hype to land it; stupid though that really is.

TG was suppose to be at EBF, but they bailed... so there goes all my hopes of trying that SR71.

I was talking about the thank you box, mainly because I had so much fun doing the targets. And I now appreciate the pace this thread moves at -- have not checked it in about 34 hours, and have over 4 pages to catch up on. Including a few times I was quoted, and I suspect a decent amount of VBS's and haul pRon. And travelling next week will make it happen again!

I think I prefer Lunch, but think there are very close to each other. And if I opened a bottle of Lunch and it was filled with Another One I'm NOT 100% sure I'd even realize it -- that's why I figured it was an acceptable substitute.

Yeah I was out of commission for all of Tuesday and Wednesday of this past week, and between here and SWTFYW I had over 16 pages to read, from 2 days. I love it.

OK cool -- I'm pretty confident you will like almost everything in the box, the Sloop Black Razz seems to get very mixed reviews and I haven't really tried the Flower City yet (mailed it to you the day after I bought it).

You were a little harder to stalk than some of my past targets -- fewer untappd and BA checkins, which in theory should have made my life easier but also gave me a lot more options to consider. I like sending "new stuff" whenever possible, so got lucky with AO.

I like the way you found it necessary to say "my real wife", just in case we all thought you were actually married to @UcDru

Try putting together a full-size BIF box together for the guy! He was my target in Stout III, and if you noticed a good deal of his Wants are not stouts! #stillhopingididok

I seriously read this as the subject of the paper being about Sam Adams (the revolutionary war guy) not having a beer. I have no idea where my brain is.

I agree on NN not falling off much, plus I also don't like it as much as a lot of folks in the first place so it tends to last (it's one of my better options to share with folks who want to try a random highly rated beer, but are normally happy with Shocktop).
