Dark Lord Day (DLD) 2015

This will be my first year. Coming in from Texas. Scored group E tix. Looking forward to the bottle shares. But, I've been told by some that they're trying to crack down on the sharing. Has there been problems? Where are most bottle shares held? Also, I know on the site, it said no coolers. But, is there something i can bring in to keep my allotment in? Some basic tips for the shares would be helpful. Thanks

 

First year going, coming from Ohio and super excited. In group B. Essentially following this thread to gain any semblance of information as to what I just got myself into.

 

3rd year for me and got B tix. Can't wait, it's always a great time!

 

I spoke with a friend last night who said he got tickets! and hes already got a hotel room. How could i possible refuse an opportunity to go to this!?

Let the planning begin, as im going to turn it into a massive beer haul road trip

 

2 years ago we bought beer the Friday before while waiting for a table at the pub. Last year, we were there at noon and there was no ZD to be found. Lots Saturday though.

 

So has anybody started a trade/share doc yet?

 

We got zd on friday as well as others, you must of just missed it, mnbearsfan can correct me if i am wrong

Last year was the first time in 3 years that I didn't get a group ticket. Ended up with GA tickets. Between the trades, bottle shares, music, food, and guest taps, I had a blast. I'd pay $30 for that all day long.

Neat little mini story. I'm live in Nor-Cal. I was at Russian River yesterday. Saw a guy with a FFF shirt on. Went over and started chatting. Turns out he's from Chicago and got his DLD tickets that morning. I'm A, I think he got B, forget. It was just a neat instance of how small the craft beer scene can be.

 

They usually post the Dark Lord Variants online the morning of DLD.

 

I think last year it came out the week of DLD . I think it was Wednesday. If you look back through last years thread, its probably in there
