HF Mimosa

It trades pretty highly along the lines of other very limited brewery only things.
Crooked Stave WWBO is technically a wild ale with orange but is quite different than Mimosa.

 

I'm guessing an eclipse for mimosa is not going to get done is it?

 

I would assume not. I've seen a lot of pictures of case stacks of Eclipses in CA.

 

I offered quite a bit.....Fantasia, BCBVS, Beat, etc...crickets.

 

It seems to trade for much lower bottle count special releases. Vanilla was 11,000 and Beat 12,000. It probably doesn't help that many think Fantasia is fading. It wasn't nearly as good as I expected. The trade value of HF stuff is mind blowing really.

 

Traded a BA 2TD and Bell's Wild One batch 2 for one...but the guy threw in some very very good extras and it was part of a larger trade involving me sending a Rare for a Peconic and HF E.

 

Man, it'd take a lot for me to trade away my Mimosas... such a delicious beer.

 

I've offered Damon+ and other good stuff and got no bites.

 

Since they were released at the same time, most people who were at this release elected to buy both which is why you may be having a hard time with that trade. Additionally, Damon had a larger bottle count (not like this matters that much I think) and there are already plans to rerelease Damon, although it may be aged differently. Someone else probably knows more than I do.

We traded Mimosa for BA Behemoth, also we did Mimosa+ for Peg's Batch 100 (this was part of a larger trade, so obvi not 1:1) and a few other trades but those are the ones that I recall.

 

HF stuff is mind blowing really. I've considered driving 8 hours for next weekends release, but just can't justify it without a couple other people joining me. I love that place.

 

I personally do not see that trade going down.

 

Most likely not. One for One sure or have them throw in a couple locals but from what ive traded and seen mimosa trade for think much smaller bottle count brewery only releases. Although Rare was expensive it was also a pretty big bottle count released and Mimosa was around 400 bottles from one of the most sought after breweries out right now.

 

Nah that won't work 1:1 maybe

 

I don't see 1:1 being fair for the owner of Rare or 2:1 being fair for the owner of Mimosa.

 

Recently landed an extra Peche 'n Brett and was wondering if this would be likely to land a Mimosa, since I've really wanted to try it...

 

Why's that? Because you can't trade shelf whales for it?

 

also - wasnt the limit on mimosa 2? hardly anyone trades a whole allotment of beer from a release, unless they went with a bunch of friends and collectively bought like a case or something along those lines.
