@JoeGrimm - I just had the chance to try Tesseract yesterday. Fantastic beer! Any thoughts about bottling it?

Hey, what can we expect the price point to be on the BA 2xNeg? I would love to be able to buy multiples to drink both now and later.

We would like to bottle or can, but since we don't have a brewery where we can sell direct to people... bottling it increases the likelihood that it'll get stashed in a back stockroom shelf for months and lose freshness. We decided that for now, the best way to present these super fresh hoppy beers is to go draft only. That's why this round of BFF is draft only as well. (for example, somebody on untappd was drinking a 10 month old BFF just yesterday... we hate that. yuck, seriously just pour it out!)

We were at our Staten Island partner brewery yesterday kegging BFF 2015. It's tasting really good, and folks at Bondurants tonight will get to drink it one day out from kegging.

NYC shops have their pricing all over the place. There's no pattern really. I would expect them to charge $15-18 per bottle.

That's awesome. I'll be there and can't wait to try it.

How come Telekinesis isn't on the list for tonight? Not ready? I'm clearly very excited for that one.

Thanks @JoeGrimm. Pricey, but most likely worth it. Hopefully I'll pick up 2.

    2 things:

    1. What are your thoughts on trading? I'm sure plenty of folks around the country would want to get their hands on these, but one would hate to deprive your loyal, local drinkers. What say you?

    2. Beermenus is fine, but you guys should let us know exactly where your beers are distributed so we know where to get a hold of them. I used to hit American Beer Distributors once a month or so, and I they always had your stuff aplenty. But now they're closed, and stores in Manhattan are hit or miss on Grimm. Thoughts?

    Keep up the great work.

Do you guys still get your beer to the PS Food Coop? It seemed like the first place I ever saw your beer, and now that other places are getting it in distro more, I've noticed we haven't gotten as much.

Makes sense to me. Thanks for the response. I will have to be sure to get a few more pours in before Tesseract disappears on draft. Thanks!

It's fermenting now, and should be out in a couple of weeks. I'm excited for it too!

    - I think trading is a good thing overall. It gets great beer circulating among the people who care about it the most, and it fosters some level of critical discourse. But I also think there should be per-customer limits; it's not fair for somebody to bogart a case and then use it as trade bait. I'd prefer a 2-bottle limit, one to drink and one to trade. Hoppy beers are not to be hoarded, but i feel like traders understand that these days thankfully. The real trouble is with people trading poorly-filled growlers!

    - I also wish we had more consistent places where it's easy to find Grimm bottles. But no particular shop gets more than 1 to 2 cases of each batch... it seems fair to spread it around, doesn't it? We only make so much beer. Back in the day, American could reserve as much as they wanted because they were our distributor at the time.

When American was distributing us, they were especially tight with the Food Co-op people. Try St Gambrinus, it's in walking distance of the co-op and they get 2 cases of pretty much everything.

Fantastic. And I love your level of dedication to answering questions and being active here on BA.

I'm heading over to Bondurants now. Looking forward to trying everything.

You can come to Bondurants right now. As for bottles, I don't think they've hit the city yet.

Ugh of course the bottles show up on the only weekend I'm going to be out of the state. I really hope places will have some left Monday night into Tuesday! If anyone could pick up an extra bottle for me, I'll make it worth your while!

Saw Bklyn Harvest Mkt posted on beermenus. $19.99 each! Yikes. I'll probably hit WF Bowery, New Beer, and Top Hops early this afternoon. Anyone know if the bottles will hit by then?

You probably need to buy a couple of 4 packs of garbage beer at Bklyn Harvest in order to buy it though...
