I live in Greenwood, IN. Oaken Barrel has some decent beers. For bottle sharing, is the more rare the better obviously? Will I look dumb bringing a few Gnaw Bones?

Along with my 120 of course, you know, for the street cred...

I too am a newcomer to this show. I don't have any whales, but I do plan on bringing some Troegs BA Flying Mouflan, Heady, and possibly some Second Fiddle. I would be more than happy to share! Any chances on joining a party outside the festival?

People are super welcoming/friendly on DLD (at most beer events, actually, in my experience). Obviously whales are great, but there's so much rare (and otherwise) beer going around, just sharing good beer is appreciated.

Bring some interesting stuff from your area and share. Personally, I just want to try new beers, whalez or not.

If you live in Greenwood, I'd suggest bringing growlers from Mashcraft over Oaken Barrel stuff. But it's really up to you...there will be plenty of beer for everyone!

Nobody really cares man, to be honest. Beer fests are totally different than trading forums. People will share mostly anything. I am more interested in trying things I've never had than the rarity of the beer. That really has never appealed to me anyway. We'll have 2 cases of Pliny, and will be glad to share it with whatever people come to our table with. Heck, I don't even care if people bring beer or not to be honest. Just want to have fun and enjoy some awesome beers with people.

I am though honestly going to feel weird not having a beard or owning a single flannel shirt.

I've heard this year the price is being raised to 20$ a bottle? And no other bottles for sale except DL/ variants? Anyone have info on this

Mashcraft is indeed a great new addition to Greenwood, IN. Their IPA is very drinkable, not too bitter, not too malty. I will gladly bring a bomber of that or anything else they may have I personally havent tried yet.
