No but really $800+ is too much

While expensive its not outrageous, perennials was 240 for ten beers at 24$ apiece if you take all extras out. Mik's is 864$ for between 72 and 144 beers. That breaks down to 12$ at 72 beers and 6$per for 144. Granted it will fall in the middle but that sounds like a pretty good deal for Mik's stuff all things considered.

 

And you can stop at anytime, no hard feelings.

 

Right. I actually think this would be an amazing deal if the shipping wouldnt cost double the membership

 

But really break it down by the number of beers you get and its not.

 

This club represents a significant price break compared to normal.

 

I don't want to exclusively drink Mikkeller beers.

 

Then their beer club is not for you. Were talking about the cost per beer and weather or not its a good deal, not what you choose to drink.

 

Yeah, I gathered that it wasn't for me a long time ago.
It's expensive to join (yes, you get a lot of beers for the money, but there is no alternate pricing for someone who just wants to a few cool releases quarterly)
There are plenty of domestic craft breweries with memberships that I would rather join before the wholesale 'bargain' Mikkeller is offering... (minus the shipping and handling)

 

If you don't like the price....

 

I love Mikkeller beers but I would just rather buy $862 worth of Vanilla Shake BA! Its so good, its what gets me thinking about this club. For anyone whose serious about Mikkeller, this is the holy grail.

Not to mention, you and three buddies could chip in and get this easily!!! Then you're instant Mikkeller VIP.

Again, we were discussing weather or not the cost of the beer was justified. Not with shipping, not weather or not I was joining.
