Great Lakes. All of their beers are good to great, they produce a variety of styles, including lagers and they keep their beers reasonably priced.

For me it's Westy, I can't believe a bunch that have been posted. Founders- Sold out to a Spanish company Nebco- giving up on free speech should have kept the name on principle FFF- Ridiculous prices and Nick Floyd well let's keep it classy and just say he doesn't value customers.

Revolution - staff is always friendly even if/when they are slammed. They do one off beers in their taproom and brewpub. Their barrel program is outstanding (Deth's Tar, Bean Gene, etc) and they have some of the most solid "standard" offerings.

Shorts. They get it, just wish I didn't have to drive 3.5 hours north to get there. They seem to be doing right by the community and Michigan as a whole.

Short's, great pub, friendly folks, put on some awesome community events, and put out an insane amount of experimental brews. And, while I'd love to have all BAs nationwide be able to pick some up everywhere, Short's keeps it in state, so it feels kinda special

I love that brewery! Wish it were closer to me. If it was, I'd be on my regular stool every day until my liver blows up.

Great stuff for sure. Any info available on how they treat employees? Or how they work to reduce their environmental impact?
