Was it crowded? There was a wait to get in so we bailed :slight_frown:

We got there at about 415 and got in after about a 15 minute wait. It was standing room only and the 8 of us (my bachelor party gang) got all 3 rounds without a problem. We were responsible for kicking the Chocolate Rain. Def. worth the wait and the crowd....and the cost....My buddy bought all 3 rounds of the 3 brews and it cost $300!!! @brewandbbq

It's really tough to just pick 5. There were so many awesome beers.

Other Half - All Green Everything
Kane - A Night To End All Dawns
    Jackie O's - Oro Negro
    Firestone Walker - Bretta Rose
Funky Buddha - Last Buffalo In The Park

I don't think there was any beer that I had that I found that I couldn't drink, but there were definitely stand outs all over the place. I didn't try to go to Cigar City, Tree House, or Founders because of the lines. I thought Funky Buddha did a phenomenal job of getting people through the line. Stand out breweries for me included Carton, Firestone, Funky Buddha, Jackie O's, Kane, Other Half, Proclamation, and The Bruery. These are the ones with overall line ups that impressed me, but there were plenty of other breweries that brought over awesome stuff.

Most pleasant surprise: No line at The Bruery the entirety of session 2. My how times have changed!

Also, shout out to the excellent Gueuze from Two Roads. Where'd that come from??

    Good Morning
    Last Buffalo in the Park
    Oro Negro
    Blue Gene
Green Diamonds (seriously, this one is so killer, I need more of it in my life)

I didn't realize how tough it was to try everything- it was my first year there. I completely missed The Rare Barrel, Cascade, Firestone Walker, Crux, and a few others I wanted to try, but it's ok, I still tried a solid amount, I think about 30 beers. Some surprises were Captain Lawrence's Extreme Blend, Sam Adams Kosmic Mother Funk (seriously great beer here), Shorts Fig Lebowski, All Green Everything, Night Shift Bean Porter, and finally trying Abrasive. Seriously killer event.

    Jackie O's - Oro Negro
Jackie O's - Cucumber Ginger Berliner
Other Half - All Green Everything
    Treehouse - Good Morning
    Funky Buddha - MBCP

Only got to try one Funky Buddha beer because of the insane line and didn't get to try any Rare Barrel cause they completely kicked with like an hour left in session 2. Regardless, it was still a great time.

    1. Hidden Cove - Jali Apricot Jalapeño thawed with Thai Peanut, really, but the juicy/spicy combo pushed in their favor
    2. Other Half - Green Diamonds
    3. Throwback - Just Beet Wit (beat Jackie O by a pinch)
    4. Sierra Nevada - Beer Camp No Middle Ground
    5. Finback - Buddy System

    Narrowed down from........

    Right Brain - Thai Peanut
Sierra Nevada - Ovila w. Plums aged in Madeira wine barrel
Sierra Nevada - Beer Camp No Middle Ground
    Kane Brewing - Cortijo
Hidden Cove - Jali Apricot Jalapeño (Manhattan super-good as well)
    Stone/Ishii/Baird - Green Tea IPA
    Burley Oak - Secret Sauce
    Oskar Blues - Shipwrecker Circus
    Throwback - Just Beet Wit
    Banded Horn - Banded Souls
    Finback - Buddy System
    Jackie O's - Cuke Ginger
    Tree House - Good Morning
    SmuttLabs - Granite State Destroyer
    Cigar City - Portmanteau
Rare Barrel - Apropos Of Nothing
    Shorts - Gilded Lily
    Other Half - Green Diamonds
    Dogfish Head - Sick Cider

I think in the midst of all the wintry, (bourbon, whiskey)barrel-aged, coffee stout/porter, syrup I just really craved some forward-nods to spring/summer that make me taste multiple notes instead of hitting hard on a single one. I really loved all the food beers, perfect for creating a beer cocktail menu very soon.

CBS was good but you need to remember the years of hype around this beer, I'm sure it's tough to compare to the pedestal everyone has put it on.

    My picks...

    1. Good Morning
    2. Huna
    3. Map of The Sun
    4. Maple Bacon Coffee Porter
    5. A Night to End All Dawns

Honorable mention for Cuvee De Tomme....that was one of my bucket list beers
