So starting this Monday, July 9th, Roasthouse Pub will be doing a Happy Hour from 3-6pm on Monday through Friday where ALL DRAFTS are HALF PRICE! Easily an awesome deal, especially if they still have 9oz pours of DFH WWS for $4.38, normally $8.75.

Also, on July 18th from 6-9pm, they are having a Goose Island tap takeover featuring BCBS for $11 per 9oz pour. Limit 2 per person and they must be pre-purchased at the pub before all 50 reserves are taken. There are about 45 reserve spots left. So hopefully I will be going and grabbing my 2 drinks and some other GI brews as well.

    Just keeping you guys informed.

I have yet to go to Roasthouse Pub, but have heard pretty good things. The half off all drafts sounds pretty awesome. Would like to try to make it to a happy hour there soon.

Also, if you have a chance to get down to Federal Hill sometime soon, No Idea Tavern has had BCBS on tap for a little while. Seems like no one is aware of it because it's been on tap there for about 3 weeks now and I'm pretty sure they are still on the first keg (they got two). And I got two 16oz. fills of it for $6 a piece!

Is there a restriction on which beers are half off? I went to a place in Rehoboth Beach last summer during their "half-price happy hour", and no one bothered to tell us it was only for beers under 7% ABV, and it was not written on any signs or menus. The bartender wouldn't adjust our bill. Never going back there again.

What?! :grimacing: 16oz pours of a 14.5% beer? :astonished: For 6$? :grinning: Clearly excited, clearly underpriced and clearly improperly served.

I went in expecting each pour to be 9oz. and cost about $10. I was pleasantly surprised when the friend I was with said "...and they are only 6 dollars" and then it was poured into a 16oz. Flying Dog goblet.

I'm heading there after my softball game tonight. Probably will look and smell like hell, but I don't care. It's not a classy place, is it?

No, its just your typical bar in Fed Hill, but more of a local crowd. They post their Draft List to Twitter a few times a week and I just saw for today that BCBS is still on tap. Cheers!

@bmuer112 thanks for the tip on no idea...will have to stop by. Their draft list while not overly extensive is usually pretty solid and goes unnoticed.

I will look into which beers will be half off. They were closed today from power outages that struck last night in the storm. So today (Tuesday the 10th) will be the first day of half off drafts happy hour from 3-6pm. I will be going to it after work and will report to confirm which beers will be half off. Hopefully all of them!

Also, i really want to go to No Idea Tavern now...

So I did get a $4.38 9oz pour of DFH WWS. I also asked to make sure that all 20 draft beers are half off. So they are! Which is awesome. I had 4 good beers for less than $14 total!

Well, probably not for any more of the BCBS. I just called over to the Tavern, and their second sixtel just kicked. To no great surprise, the manager was not sure when they might next be getting more in.

Shame it kicked. I was in there Tuesday night and while the place was packed for trivia night I only saw three people the whole time drinking it (two of the people were my friend and I). Was hoping to go back and get some more.
