Yes it is. Used to be run on here, but moved. Look up Sour, Saison & Funk in the BIF forum to check out some of the crazy boxes that go around.

 

I've done this before, there are some stupid awesome hauls. I love to throw around beer as much as the next guy, but I have to admit that one is too rich for my blood (at least, without taking a serious break from other trading/BIF activity)

 

I put a box aside at the end of the last one and have been slowly filling it. Only way I could think about going at this

Limit was 1 case pp, about $255/case (12x500mL). Presale was weeks ago, but there are some bottles (not sure limits) for sale on Sunday at a general release. If you bought presale you cannot buy regular, no proxies, etc. no idea how hard it will be to get, no idea on total count other than presale was 150 cases.

 

6pp on Sunday for the general release, which is what I'm shooting for. I'd guess about another 150 cases will be sold.

 

No, mostly Dallas area for special stuff (Temptress variants)....it just started making it to Austin, and mostly just their regular lineup here at only a couple places. Houston may get some, but I'm not sure. Definitely not out of state though.

Edit: As a sidenote I dont even know if they are distributing to Austin yet. But a few stores carry some of there stuff because the store owners make the trip to Lakewood and pick it up.

Favorite time of the year....kbs release....got 2 on hold and the delivery date on another store. Gonna be a busy week next week hunting these bad boys down!!!

 

These might not all go in one release. Some have been bottled since Oct/Nov(kriek #2, Druiven #2, Berry, Strawberry) Apricot was bottled a few months later. Melange, Blackberry, Plum, and regular Grrrz will be bottled in the next few weeks.

I know they presold, so the release won't have people that bought early anyways. Had I know people were going from here, I would have bought a case to split and have someone gopickitupbro, and buy some of their bootles.

Regardless- I bet they've got an okay bit for general sale. It's not quite prime season up there yet, and Wicked Weed generally has a pretty good system. Usually pretty fluid, no real headache, simple to get your bottles and walk out, or you can stay around and drink whats on tap.

 

I wish I had the ability to hunt them down.. I really do enjoy KBS, although last year was a bit ehh. Here's to hoping my local place gets it, cause I won't be able to head into ATL to stand in a line somewhere at 3PM

 

Last year I found double digits...this year I'm hoping for another 12pk. You will hear no whimpers from me. I know how this gig works and j work the perfect days to be as effective as I can. I love me some bcbcs but kbs is tops to me because I can drink it without being drunk after.

And is it just me or has there been an influx in helpful "lurkers"? I wilder how many people actually follow this thread that are not part of it? I have to say you are the gate keeper of the best place beer oriented in all of the whole interwebs @Dicers , you deserve a round of applause. It's really awesome to see how protective you are of the group and in turn how protective we all are of each other...

 

same..I don't get the KBS draw and have had multiple vintages both fresh and aged
