Those are probably the guys buying it from Costco and re-selling. Or just gouging. Either way it's shameful.

I was debating it but the hassle over $4 is crap...although it may prevent it from happening again the future.

On IG, a chino hills liquor posted a photo with 12 cases. I think bevmo's got less than that. Also other liquors seem to be getting their allocations for those still looking.

Parabola price is now $15.49 in TWM Cali so you're in really good shape in that regard.
Concerns raised at the store level resulted in price adjustment to benefit customers equally in all our stores.

On individual item price matching, store managers do have responsibility for verifying competitor price is published via advertised price or coupon. Special release items are not excluded within the policy.

It appears you all "spoke" and stores reacted quickly and communicated it up and the price was changed accordingly.

Thanks for pinging me on this.

So since I didnt get a price match, and the price dropped today, is it worth asking for a refund?

Normally I'd say yes, however California has strange laws and one is that alcohol products can't be returned (unless defective). So I'm not sure how they can handle it at the store. Would you be interested in a free pass to an upcoming beer class? I can do that for you. Beer Mail me.

Saw on Instagram that Jimbo's Liquor (in SD) got it in. Someone posted a comment asking the price. There was no response so I called and asked. $29.99. I posted a comment with that price on Instagram. They deleted my comment and blocked me...

Santa Monica Whole Foods and Bevmo had some about 20 minutes ago. 1 bottle limit at Bevmo, was able to get 3 at Whole Foods. You might have to ask, neither had it on the shelf. I didn't really pay attnetion, but I think about $16 each.

    Cheers from Minne...er...Santa Monica!

That's super shitty. Especially since it makes it seem like they know they're doing something wrong.

Hey Rob, does Total Wine price match as a general rule? For any items? What is needed in order for me to get a price match? Would a website of another liquor store qualify?

I shop at Total Wine all the time and I have never thought they did price matches.

    Thanks!

Ha! For real man. That store is definitely shady...Saw some 2013 Bourbon County variants that were priced between $20-30 a bottle. Someone still bought them though because they aren't on the shelves anymore. They also had a case of 2014 BCBS that was behind the counter with a two bottle limit ($8 a bottle) and only the store owner could sell you them but you had to ask him specifically. Weird fucking store to say the least
