Total Wine in HB got some in today. Don't bother going cause I purchased all 3 cases. Just kidding. 1 bottle per. 2 cases left. $ 16.78 out the door.

my post about taking a photo of someone was deleted for reason - "not cool".

I didnt post the photo and even said I wouldnt because it wasnt right. Whichever moderator deleted my post, im new around here so I would appreciate if you BM'd me to let me know how I was in the wrong? I only said I got a photo of the guy that cleaned out bevmo IN CASE he was a shop owner.

I would have understood if I just posted the photo up and started a witch hunt, but I did no such thing, so again, not sure how I was in the wrong with the post. just trying to understand things around here a bit more.

    thanks

BevMo wouldn't fill my order of 3, but it's starting to reach liquor stores and grocery stores in San Jose if any of you are looking

Yeah they sold out by 1230 and keep canceling orders online unless the emails and phone call I received aren't true. The mgr usually handles these types of releases better.

Jimbo's has always done this. I think the proprietor is related to Alpine's favorite DB, some guy that runs a south bay liquor store that may have a name indicative of its location. For the most part, they are fair in pricing, but they know how to milk a whale.

Mos def. I'd rather drive the 90 miles to paso robles and get from the source again.

The Bevmo card gave you $1 off? How?

I ordered 6 online at bevmo, but when I showed up they would only sell me two. They screwed this one up at some of these bevmos...

As of 3AM, I'm getting a "PAGE NOT FOUND" error when clicking on the Parabola link on Bevmo's site. Not having a problem clicking on any other beers. Not sure if this is a coincidence or if Bevmo is trying to remove it from the site with all the orders and not being able to enforce limits online?

I mean, I command you on your attempt to reach for the stars, but come on now.. At this point Bevmo pretty much figured out they done fucked up and will be spotty as fuck in honoring much of anything as they're overworked and all that jazz.

I'm glad I'm not even chasing them trucks or hopping on the costco dragon.

Total Wine does have a store operations policy for price matching. TW is committed to being the everyday low price leader in all its business markets on a consistent basis. That being the case, there may be instances where there's an advertised price in the market area on an item which is a lower price than TW's everyday price. As a consumer what you need to do is bring with you to TW the ad or coupon from the other local store. The ad/coupon must be dated and not expired. With that, the TW store will match the price.

    The exceptions to this include:
    -- Internet prices
    -- Photocopies of coupons
-- Coupons cannot be accepted in states where prohibited by law (e.g., Georgia, North Carolina).

Why are TW managers not supposed to accept Internet prices? The reason is because competitor stores can easily (and have) manipulated their online pricing, showing lower prices online than what the real prices are in the store.

As you can see in the case of the subject beer of this thread, TW made a change to the price on this item once the lower price from the other entity was verified.

I think it depends on the Bevmo and who works there. When I went to pick up mine from Canoga Park location I saw two cases set aside for two different purchasers. Each were paid in full already for about 108 per case.
