This was a Preservation Society beer last year. Pretty good but maybe wanted a little bit more from it based on the description. In any case glad it's a seasonal now.

Sounds similar to Belching Beaver's Horchata Milk Stout- although not a stout. I think it's worth a try since most the Bruery's stuff is amazing, but it's a little gimmicky.

I just drank one a few weeks ago that was sent to me in some beer mail (a year ago lol). Still tasted great. I can't wait to try it fresh. Should be even better.

Is this being distributed nationally or only to Members?

It's definitely a " must try" even if it's not up your alley. Very unique.

national spring seasonal, replacing saison de lente.

also, for everyone saying "last year", the original society release of this beer was actually 2013.

Had it on tap at The Bruery. If you've ever had horchata, you'll enjoy this. It's damn tasty.

I tasted it at The Bruery taproom over the weekend and bought two bottles ($9.99/ea). Very good. According to the retail list there, there are no plans to distribute outside the brewery (though that may be dated info).

I thought my bottle was absolutely delicious! Definitely a very unique dessert beer.
