$7 for 6oz pours? I thought I was missing out by not stopping by but with pricing like that I don't feel so bad.

Just walk in and pay $12 for it. Much better than having to do 5 days of $7 pours and essentially paying $35 (plus tips) for a "free" glass.

Yeah some of the beers had been on tap before were you could of gotten a full pour for nearly the same price, such as toasted in tahiti and imperial hodor. I understand these beers/kegs were limited/saved but charging $7 for 6oz pours for some that aren't barrel aged is a bit excessive. Giving away a Teku or a shirt if you get enough stamps isn't that bad when most people are going multiple days dropping $7 for 6oz and buying other beers.

The vanilla stout tapped out in 30 minutes. What's up with these damn vanilla stouts always doing that haha

They had 4 different barrel aged versions and they still have two of the two going when I left yesterday and I was there for 3 hours. Maybe you just got there at the wrong time.

On a side note, the haven hill and buffalo trace barrel aged Fundamental Observation were amazing. The other two were really good but man, those two were on another level.

I only had the Heaven hill and Bernheim, but I agree the Heaven Hill stood out for me. The vanilla in the Bernheim seemed a bit more subtle to me, but honestly thought both were excellent.

    Just a fad.

Go to Whole Foods. Buy a Madagascar 'nilla bean. Split open. French press or drop in bottle of favorite stout. (full disclaimer, some stouts work better as base, so takes some experimenting)

I tried all four versions of the vanilla stout and they were all great in their own ways. Being a whiskey drinker, I could actually taste the different barrels used and confirmed that it does make a difference in barrel aging. Can't wait to try the blend of all four barrels.

Tumescence's label had that phrase in the bottom right corner, where all the cute marketing phrases get placed.

I actually just checked untapped and Raging Happiness has a 4.18 rating while tumescence has a 3.65. Considering people tend to rate higher when they have been drinking, especially when your out with friends at a brewery, this kind of makes sense.

TBH, I'm surprised tumescence is that high. It seriously could be the worst Bruery beer ever (that wasn't infected).

Not sure who's tried it, but the Sangria Tripel is just terrible. It reminds me of bad orange juice. Last night was legit with Fundamental Observation and the four barrel treatments. This brewery is way better at bourbon barrel aged porters/stouts than sour beers.

Yeah $7 a 6oz pour is a lot but with "prizes" involved it does make sense. I had the fundamental observation age in buffalo trace barrels and is was very good, probably a 4.75. Didn't try the others as it was the last one available when I got there at 8pm. I will be going back tomorrow to try the year old dark star and buy a glass.

    $21 for a bottle opener
    $35 for a teku glass
    $49 for a(n awful) shirt.

YEeeeeeeah, no thanks. Look, I love Bottle Logic. I'll defend their shit a lot because they have cool designs on their labels and are a lot cheaper than going to the Bruery. But that shirt design completely disappointed me in every possible way. The art was, and forgive the frankness, utter shit. I wouldn't wear that shirt if I was naked and cold. It's just really poorly made.

I get that there's prizes involved, but just because a select few are catching them all, doesn't mean everyone should suffer expensive ass pours on stuff they would on any other night that isn't their anniversary week, would be pouring a better and more cost effective pour on. The fact that most of the week's offerings have lasted days past their tapping just tells you something.

I'll be there tomorrow for some bottles of the anniversary beer, but I can't help but feel that the anniversary week worth of tappings was anything more than a let down.

I can't comment on all beers for the week, but man, was I let down down with dark and stormy. I had one sip from a friends pour and that was too much!! Teacursion was alright, but one pour was enough. Green Jade was ok too. If you love green tea.

Hi guys, a small update for tomorrow's releases... We will release Ideation (our hopped wheatwine) at 12pm on draft and in bottles, and the Brewmaster's Reserve barrel of Darkstar November will go on draft at 2pm.
