i got like 6 or 7. I think its safe to say i won by a landslide guys.

 

Question for you guys: what flying dog beers do you see in your area? I usually don't send them out since they have a pretty big distro, but I've heard that some of their better stuff stays local. I know the new BA gonzo is brewery only, but what about the truth, bloodline ipa, and their brewhouse rarities series?

 

I'm about as close as it gets to the source without being in-state, and while I don't look real closely at their section of the shelf, I'm pretty sure I don't see those.

 

ISO that home brew! Save me a bottle for when I come down in May?

 

We get a lot of their staple beers out here but I haven't seen anything too rare or unique hitting our shelves. I don't think most of their special release stuff is making it this far west.

 

I might get raging bitch and a few other basic ones that ive tried and not liked a single one. I landed a half case of Gonzo and Horn dog in a trade and those are the ticket. Best ones ive had by far. Been watching the trade fourm for a BA gonzo or BA horndog if they do one.

Also as a side note i hate how you only get notifications for so many threads. I was like 3 pages behind, not bad but come on BA give me a warning I need to get back in here.

 

They just did BA and Rum BA Gonzo a month or so ago, not much hype on the threads.. they probably have more at the brewery since you have to take a 1hr tour to buy any beer there! BA Horndog was last year

 

So glad I bought a bottle, try to make it there before the tap runs dry. $15 flight of the 3 latest MP's.

They won't need to tell you which is which, you can tell by the first taste.

 

We get the Truth. I have not seen Bloodline. We do get the Brewhouse Rarities, but in insanely small quantities. As in, a couple of dozen cases for the entire state. I heard one of them was only 6 cases in the state. I still have a Green Tea Stout.

Question: Which if any Eclipse variants are harder to find/more sort after?

 

I would say I've seen the Truth a handful of times, by no means do I see it regularly. I typically do not care for Flying Dogs hoppy stuff, so I don't pay that much attention.

 

I think its worth a shot, probably their best, i think easy ipa and bloodline are pretty good

 

If I see it in singles I'll grab it. I find their hoppy stuff to be very abrasive. Even their single hop series with citra and galaxy I found to be abrasive.

 

It's not about how many threads; but you only get one notification for "<User> has replied, there may be more replies" until you check the thread again, so if you miss that alert, you aren't getting another one.

Two suggestions to help eliminate this: Check the main BIF Forum page regularly, and check "Unread Watched Threads" regularly.

 

I have BA bookmarked and on my bookmarks tab. Instead of landing on the main page, I just redirect to my Unread Watched Threads page so I'll see every thread I'm watching and if there is something I haven't read yet. It helps a lot.

 

I'll 3rd the recommendation to look at your 'Watched Threads' page. I basically ingore the alerts anymore and always go to the watched threads page to see what is new.
