Will police be searching backpacks and cooler bags for shelf turds?

It will be similar to the TSA process in which random people will be pulled out of line and sent to a panel of neckbeards for assessment of the contents of their bags.

Zombie Dust listed right now on the Beers to Go section of their website.

I wonder if that means they won't have any available to buy the weekend of Dark Lord Day.

Won't have anything to do with it. It's available almost every Thursday.

Seriously, why would it mean that? DLD is a month away.

The addition of Big Freedia is strange to me. Maybe the 2nd stage will be non-metal?

Just listened to some Big Freedia on Youtube. God awful garbage.

I really hope the second stage isn't full of rap and other crap.

I don't know Three Floyds' production schedule. Maybe I just wanted to start a rumour that there won't be any Zombie Dust to buy that weekend.

The metal stage is good enough that Justin Beiber could play the second stage and I wouldn't give a shit.

I'm wondering if the Big Freedia thing is a joke, kinda like when they had "Ghan Jovi" in the lineup one year before it was announced that it was actually High on Fire playing.

Alright, c'mon now, "rap and other crap?" There's no reason to be dismissive of people's music choices. I don't listen to metal (nor do I particularly like it), but I've never had an issue with it being played at DLD. Good rap (which, admittedly, is rare on the radio) is just as viable as any other genre of music.

With that being said, from what I heard of Big Freedia on YouTube, I'd probably pass on that as well.

    Hopefully it's a joke.

I disagree. I don't like that stuff and I'm not going to pretend like I do, much in the same way I'm dismissive of people who drink Coors Light.

I guess I should've been more specific; I meant that there's no reason to be dismissive here, on this board. However, if you don't care how it comes off, more power to you.

You're dismissive of people who drink Coors Light? In what way? You tell them to fuck off? You ignore them? I'm not sure why you care.

Also I'd advise against being like that, because I guarantee there is something you buy or participate in that could easily be just as laughed at by your Coors Light dudes.

Do you own only purebred dogs and train them daily? Your Coors Light guy might.
Do you only buy artisan cheese, never bagged shredded Kraft? Your Coors Light guy might.
Do you buy only designer clothes, never anything from a JC Penny or Kohls? Your Coors Light guy might.
etc ad naseum for every product in the world.

You'd think being on BA for 10 years you'd be a bit more grown up, instead of dismissing others who have different opinions or interests than you.

Dismissive as in I'm not interested in their opinion on beer. Unapologetically so. I apply this to many things in my life. If I don't respect a person's taste in something I'm not going to bother with them in that field.

As for being on BA for 10 years, yes I have been here that long. I remember when the prevailing mentality here was "let's start a beer revolution" as opposed to "drink what you like." Of course that was long before BA was flooded with macro apologists, and the Alstrom Bros. review of Budweiser was 60-something.

So to your point of be a bit more grown up, I prefer to think of it as being a throwback to the good ol' days.
