Bevmo in Burbank just got their shipment today. $15.99 but $1 off if you have a membership. Limit 1

 

Just grabbed a bottle at total wine tustin, $15.49 without tax limit one bottle

 

Someone snagged all 3 cases at the Costco in Bakersfield for the bottle price, $11.79 each. Figured it out when we had them check the inventory and it showed only 3 sold out of the 18...

Damn. Sucks sitting here at work. I want to drive to all the bevmos and costcos in my area.

 

Anyone see Parabola at any Costcos in the South Bay Area? Seems like it came and went through the BevMos. Totally ridiculous.

 

As of 1PM, Bevmo Van Nuys had six left after I had purchased one. Bevmo Studio City is sold out.

Whole Foods Sherman Oaks (Riverside & Coldwater) said they would have it on Friday FWIW.

 

What other stores get Parabola besides TW, BevMo, Whole Foods and liquor stores? Trader Joes?

 

I checked TJ's on Tuesday when the BevMo and TW in the same area got theres and they didnt have any. I actually didn't see any FW beers so I doubt they get it.

 

Trader Joe's very rarely gets it. Pasadena got 1 case last year and that was kind of a fluke.

 

Liquor Warehouse in HB has it at $13.99! Love this place as they never price gouge. Too bad its so far from me.

 

My experience as of yesterday. Flame me or praise me. This is what happened. I went to my local Bevmo (Modesto) yesterday. They had an empty case sitting on the ground with two bottles sitting on the back desk. I inquired if they had any and was informed it was all sold out. I was told that someone had purchased 7 bottles online and picked them all up. I didn't think much of it and left. 2 hours later when I arrived home I checked inventory for that store online. There was 1 available. So I proceeded to purchase it and received an conformation e-mail.

Not 3 minutes later I had a reply from the store stating parabula was all sold out. Yeah the misspelling was awesome. So I e-mailed them back Asking why sometimes holding beer is allowed and sometimes it's not? As I have had this issue before. And I know that that they were simply holding that 1 beer in inventory for someone? I received no reply.

I proceeded to call customer service to inquiry what was the policy. We shared a laugh about how ridiculous the inconsistency has become and was offered a shipped beer from another location free of charge. So I have 1 beer to enjoy and couldn't be happier. I tip my hat to those who swooped in and claimed multiples. Cheers!

 

All the local good beer stores in the Inland Empire got a whole bunch of this stuff. Shouldn't be hard to get at all. Stop dicking around with BevMo and their 2 total cases they got, unless it's all you have around. Then I feel for you.

 

Bevmo Pasadena had about two and a half cases as of 30 minutes ago. 15.99 limit one. No discount with club membership.

BevMo online is very delayed. Those two bottles sitting behind the counter were likely from one or two people who had reserved them online hours before you had gone in there. Never trust the online count, it is always best to just call first.

 

Dude!!! Not lying. That was me. On Tuesday, I was scanning all the BevMos online territory and Modesto popped up as having 9. I purchased 6. I thought for sure I was going to get a call saying they will only allow me to purchase 1-2. What worried me was that it took a few hours for them to fulfill the order and email me. It was stuck on pending for like 4 hours. Thought for sure they were reviewing it and going to call me about only allowing me to buy 2 or something. So, when I got off work, I drove out to modesto, which is like a 15-20min drive, and when I got to the store, I noticed that box on the ground, but it had 3 bottles in it. The 6 that I got were in an un opened box. I am afraid to open it. Looks too nice all packaged up. I seriously thought about asking about buying those 3. But I didn't want to risk it since I figured I was getting away with murder by getting a case. Then the next day (wednesday) the inventory was at 3 for majority of the day. So, I was sitting at work, still a few hours til I get off and I was like what the hell. So I purchased the 3. Not even 5 mins later I get a call and voice mail saying that there are not 3 available, and that there is only 1 and they will change my order to 1. So, hey better then nothing. When I got off work yesterday, I drove to Modesto, and when I got to the online counter in the front corner, the guy was standing there at the computer and 2 bottles were set aside by themselves and then 1 was set to the other side, which was mine. The guy saw me, handed me my beer and told me he doesn't need to see my info since I was there yesterday lol.

My bad thought man. Pretty awesome they are sending you one. That is rare. If you ever want to trade, or maybe pop one of mine open together I don't mind at all. The least I can do
