Oh nice, i didn't know Albertsons got it too was it the one near the top of Victoria? Its getting pretty easy to find good beer in the area.

 

Most NYC shops have received their allotment. Safe to say that most of those shops have sold out. For those that miss out, I think a few barrels made their way to the city so look out for those over the next couple months.

 

Got my Parabola for 12.99 here in los angeles yesterday. The shop had just received their allotments and it was wonderful no limit. Didnt horde but the standard one for now, trade, and cellar

 

FW site shows 39 retailers receiving it within 10 miles of downtown Manhattan. Since I have yet to hear of anyone getting more than 6, that equates to about 250 bottles for the 8.5 million people in NYC. Happy hunting.

 

Here in Los Angeles County, Parabola has begun appearing. However, the accounts serviced by Allied Distribution (huge distributor that serves the San Fernando Valley, home to over a million people let's not forget) have not received theirs yet. Today is what I hear. We'll see.

 

Where Telly?

 

It hit Colorado this week and is EXTREMELY limited across the board.

 

Liquor Max in Loveland has a few on the shelf and will take phone orders with a 50.00 min (37.00 if you get the two allotted to you). Just called them a few minutes ago. Give them a call if you're in range of them.

Wilburs in Ft. Collins also had a few left as of this morning. Got two from them and two from Liquor Max...considering this a good day in light of how little was distributed.

 

My Bruery guy got me two in Huntington Beach on Tuesday. By Wednesday afternoon, they were out.

 

yeah, the finders are not that accurate. just because it's on there doesn't mean it's in. some say sucaba and anni still lol. I dunno if it's 'hit' nyc persay as several stores have got it in and sold out. but either the stocks are way down or its not at some places yet. I saw someone ask them on social media this week and they responded maybe another week or two. so who knows. hoping I can snag at least 1. one of my local spots with good inventory said they werent even sure this year. sigh.

 

Chula Vista BevMo got their allotment of 6 cases this morning. Got 2 bottles about 15 mins after they opened and more than half of them were already gone. No limit too

 

I don't think the finder are inaccurate per se, they just don't update once they hit. So if someone gets Sucuba, it stays up there for 3 months.

 

has anyone seen any in VA? or the southeast?

 

I am guessing that people are buying a lot online and picking up at the store. I bought a case Tuesday night online and picked it up the next day. The cashier told me there was a 2 bottle limit and that I should not have been able to purchase the whole case but the manager eventually gave in after I told him that I would never shop at BevMo and that they should honor my purchase, they did.

one of the ones I almost got it at on a city trip I bailed on the night of the collapsed building avoiding traffic isn't even on there. while some have accuracy to an extent, that still makes it a crapshoot unless you know.

 

Was able to find a bottle yesterday. I've never had it before. Is this a beer you sit on or enjoy fresh?

 

If you like to sit on beers, grab two. Drink one now. Though, that's sort of my policy. If I don't like it now, I'm not willing to hold on to it. Then again, I don't have a lot of free cash to drop, so that colors my judgement.
