Founders CBS in the South?

Bummed about the weather today. I was going to make the trip from Oxford to Birmingham for the Founders tap takeover at Hop City, but I don't think I want to drive back after the temperatures drop this evening. I've been waiting for years to try CBS ... what's one more year?

 

Same here, but I was stuck in Tuscaloosa because of the ice on the ground. But supposedly J Clyde still is going to get a keg and Carrigan's Public House which are both in Birmingham.

 

CBS just reared its head at the Springhurst Liqour Barn in Louisville yesteraay. The set up was awesome: people pouring, people serving, people taking orders. The line went very fast, which was not the case at the Grale or Four pegs.

A 10 oz. pour was only 10 bux and we kept the Founders snifter.

I was totally impressed so Kudos to LB. And of course the beer was absolutely amazing.

 

In Birmingham... Hop City has it on tap again now. I know Carrigan's has a keg and they are waiting a while to tap it. Also heard that J. Clyde has the other keg but no idea when it will pop up

 

Hop City does not. A couple days ago they had KBS on but not CBS. That keg kicked a long time ago.

 

I stand corrected. Not sure how I got that confused. I even had one, haha

 

How did the word get outt about this event? I didn't hear anything about the event.

 

I heard about it from the guys at the springhurst liquor barn just chatting with them at the growler wall. It was also listed on the events calender on the Liquor Barn website.
