Stout BIF Round 4 Hints & Hauls

Hell yeah; F&M seems pretty cool about bottle sharing on their porch (I've never done it, but I haven't seen a bottle release without it), so we'll pick a nice weather night and I'll bring by a few bottles. Sometime after the baby comes and it's nice outside. We'll twist @Houser's arm into coming, and I'm sure @zekeman17 and @nesarebad can join as well.

 

Why have I never even heard of F&M? Lol

Am I missing out?

 

I don't know if it's been mentioned but F&M = Forest & Main, in Ambler, PA; and yes you are. Tired Hands gets tons of hype (deservedly) but F&M quietly makes some damn fine beer. Bottle releases are on roughly the same schedule/quantity, so I never have a ton, but I'm always happy to grab growlers for anyone, especially since F&M is 5 minutes from me vs 40 for Tired Hands.

edit: I did spell out their name a few posts ago, whatever.

I've seen some bottles getting opened at F&M releases, but I doubt that they want stuff opened at other times.
Maybe find a local BYOB and open a few bottles there if no one is able to host?

It is hitting Ohio this or next week per the distributor if that helps.

 

I've actually never heard of this place, but I'm always interested in new breweries! We'll have to work something out in the future.

 

Hint 1 - shipping south
Hint 2 - I have been in other BIFs with my target, though I've never sent anything to them.
Hint 3 - Shipping to a state partially bordered by at least one large body of water.
Hint 4 - Target does not have what is arguably the most famous (and highest ranked) stout produced in my state on his wants.
Hint 5 - I've shipped at least one BIF related box to my Target's state in the last couple of months. It was not to my target.
Hint 6 - Target lives in a state more populous than mine.
Hint 7 - Target lives in a top growth population state that is a popular vacation destination.

Boxes hopefully going out tomorrow. Have a 12 shipper loaded up plus another box of assorted items that wouldn't fit.

 

havent crossed anyone off in a while now - how we lookin my brothern from WI, CA, IL, AZ and TX (states I still have left - total 7 potenails). If im even off - let me suffer as ill find out soon enough.

 

Yeah I wasn't sure about non-event times, thanks. We'll start at F&M and move to either a BYO or my place, as long as it's nice I can easily host.

 

Box #2 contents are assembled and set aside my my target who already knows who he is...I am out of town this week for work but will pack this weekend and get it out to my target on Monday. I met my target at EBF and he is a little older so in-case he forgot who he is or where he is...His name rhymes with Tave Dreat......

Add @PA-Michigander to the central pa guys here....we all live close. Must be the central Pa water making us all nuts. Now I know that I am old and out of shape. But I seriously started breathing heavy after carrying those three stinking boxes to drop them off.

Didn't want to give out another clue but I feel like I have to. My target is activity looking for trades that include multiple beers already in his box.
