    A great read, yes.

I just received all four of these books and these are exactly the technical type of beer books I wanted. Some of this advanced chemistry stuff might be over my head at the moment, but I want to learn!

If you want the mack-daddy of brewing texts, there is only one: https://www.vlb-berlin.org/en/technology-brewing-and-malting

This book, known simply as "The Kunze" is the end-all, be-all of high-end brewing info. It's the basis for most of the master brewer examinations (IBD, VLB etc.) and explores nearly all of the high-end technical aspect of brewing and brewery engineering. It is expensive (150 Euros) and hard to read... translated oddly and uber-technical, but if you're scientifically minded and looking to go toward the top end of brewing knowledge, this is the book. Most of the extremely talented and technical brewing folks I know consider this like the bible.

So they like textbook by Kunze better than the one by Narziss?

Someday I might drop a hint for my birthday present.

I rarely hear the Narziss referenced except with an extreme specialized fermentation question, but in our technical meetings, someone always has a Kunze nearby.
Siebel sells the Kunze in dollars, but I actually bought mine from VLB in Euros and even with shipping it was cheaper than Siebel. Weird.

I have a great book, but it´s in spanish, it´s like 1,000 pages. Talks about the whole process from the barley field to the beer store in a scientific way. So if you undestand spanish I can share it.
