So this is my first eventbrite ticket purchase. So question for those that have used them in the past and went to a FSW event. Obviously I purchased 2 tickets (1 for me, 1 for better half to enjoy beers with me) but there is only a single field for an attendee name.

Would my name on both tickets get us both in since she would have a ticket in hand or does her name on the ID must match a ticket?

I already sent them an email too asking, just not sure if anybody else has experienced that and have an answer. Thanks.

You'll be fine, it's basically your name and a +1.

You can edit the names on the tickets. But I've never had an issue with the tickets. The person who bought them has to be there but they never cared about the names of the people with you.

Yeah I tried to edit the names but it acts like it is one order/one ticket and changing names would change on both.

But ok, thanks. I had a feeling it was like me+1 just needs to walk in with me sort of thing.

See you guys there at the end of April. I'll be that one guy drinking beer.

The tickets time out after 8 minutes. I got in at 9:08, and another wave went up at 9:16. That pattern should repeat until they really are sold out. Keep trying!

So I haven't seen any mention of this but are more bottles gonna be available to purchase day of like they usually are or are they not doing that this time around?

It was mentioned that there may be some extra Bretta Rose but very very limited. I think they also mentioned that Sour Opal is only going out via tickets and that there aren't any extra bottles of that (or at least that they are allowing the public to purchase).

Son of a... I overslept my alarm to get up and missed out on tickets. Should've known the tickets would sell out...

Same boat. Holding out hope someone cancels their order or some other miracle frees up a ticket...

A Message from Firestone Walker Barrelworks :

    Friends -

We’re so excited that you were able to snag tickets & will be joining us on Saturday, April 25th as we release Bretta Rosé – Batch Two & Sour Opal into the wild! This Liberation will feature some unique beer offerings that we haven’t done before, we hope you all enjoy!

Just a couple important things to remember, please read carefully:

    • Each person that joins us for the Liberation must have a ticket! If you purchased two tickets, then there must be two people present, otherwise you will be forfeiting the additional ticket & ultimately the bottles of beer.
      • Example: If Jack bought two tickets, then Jill must accompany him. If Jack arrives alone, he will ONLY receive the allocation of bottles for ONE ticket. Make sense?
    • Barrelworks bottles are NOT for resale – period. It is ILLEGAL to resell our beer. We have had the unfortunate experience of folks “muling” our beers then reselling them in stores or “offering” them at a high price online. We want to maintain the spirit of our Liberations & make beer available for fans for personal consumption & sharing, so to the mules out there: Please don’t ruin this for everyone.
    • You will be able to purchase additional bottles on the day-of the Liberation. Hooray – more beer!
      • Ticket One: You have the option to purchase up to seven (7) additional bottles of each beer. This gives you the opportunity to leave with 10 bottles of each beer, 20 bottles in total.
      • Ticket Two: You have the option to purchase up to four (4) additional bottles of each beer. This gives you the opportunity to leave with 10 bottles of each beer, 20 bottles in total.
      • NO PERSON MAY LEAVE WITH MORE THAN 20 BOTTLES! If you purchased two tickets but do not arrive with a friend, you still are only leaving with the max for ONE TICKET. No exceptions.
    • If you need to change the name on your ticket, please do so through Eventbrite. Please contact Eventbrite Support with any additional questions on that.
    • Beer MUST be picked up by 2:30pm on Saturday, April 25th. No Exceptions. If you are unable to make it to the event by 12pm, you are forfeiting you bottles & will not be issued a refund.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at [email protected]. Cheers & we’ll see you in a few weeks!

I'll totally wear a Jill wig if there are any folks out there with two tickets and in need of someone to get the second allocation (I'd just want one bottle of each, and would pay for them + Liberation costs).

Edit: reading the whole thing, though, not sure I get the point... either way, you can get 10 bottles of each. Maybe it's just that if you've got Ticket Two, you actually lose out on three of each or something? Confused...

My math skills are poor, I know...but I think you get a better deal initially on ticket 2 correct?

Just checked my own maff skills. Ticket 2 essentially comes out about $1/bottle cheaper (does not take tasters or glass into consideration). #benefitstomoreexpensiveticket

Well that's a spot of good news! If anyone wouldn't mind helping a brotha out with some bottles of each, could you please PM me so we could work something out. I'm heartbroken that I missed out on tix.

I wish they would've announced the limits earlier. It's not much so I'm not going to throw a fuss over 5$, but someone check my math (plugged my formula into google) it costs more to max out if you buy the initial 6&6 ticket vs. the 3&3.

    6&6 Ticket: 211.14 + [(4 x 13.99) x 1.09] + (4 x 0.05) + [(4 x 14.99) x 1.09] + (4 x 0.05) = 337.89$
    3&3 Ticket: 111.77 + [(7 x 13.99) x 1.09] + (7x 0.05) + [(7 x 14.99) x 1.09] + (7 x 0.05) = 333.58$
    3&3 Ticket (w/3 extra bottles purchased) + [(3 x 13.99) x 1.09] + (3 x 0.05) + [(3 x 14.99) x 1.09] + (4 x 0.05) = 206.89$ (vs. 211.24)

Yes considering that buying at least 3 extra bottles was likely I could have just made the choice to buy the cheaper ticket, but since they had been secretive about allocations with either Jim or Jeffers saying only a very small number would be purchasable extra. Long story short if I can spend 340$ on beer I'm probably not going to have much an argument over 4-5$, but it's the principle, why shouldn't the ticket buying more at the start be a better deal in some way?
