KBS in Milwaukee

Call first and ask when they usually get their Founders delivery... that will save you a lot of time and stress. And if they received it and sold out already I bet they would tell you because they would want people to stop asking.

Well if there are no limits (sometimes even if there are) stuff sells out instantly if you aren't hanging around the store or know when it is coming. Lame, but it makes sense and we all know it happens

 

Had some on tap at Burnhearts yesterday. Keg lasted about 3 hours

Apparently Kenosha Woodman's sold out in 11minutes this morning.

 

Interesting morning yesterday at Otto's on Oakland Ave. The store received 5 cases of KBS which quickly sold out at 2 bottles per person. Nothing surprising there, however, the truck also delivered 6 cases from Surly! It is finally happening. Should see more of it around town by June.

In case you are wondering, Otto's is on my way into work so I stopped by around 9:00 AM to see when/if KBS was getting delivered. Low and behold, the delivery guy was there and just taking KBS and Surly off the truck. Came back an hour and a half later and picked up two bottles.

 

Discount just tweeted it's there. 1 bottle per person, $5.99 per. Darn it. I usually luck out having to start work at 2pm. Not today!

 

I'm glad I already have some... that place is going to be a mad house. They were nice for all the people working though and held off on it until 5 pm

 

I've yet to stumble upon it in bottles. Apparently last year I was in whole foods looking for it while it was there... I just wasn't looking in the right spot and am too stubborn to ask someone for help.

I'm usually lucky enough to find it on tap a few times though so it's really no skin off my back. Plenty of other good beer around to keep me happy.

 

Whole Foods on North Ave. just got it in this morning - 1 bottle limit - Was there at noon and still had some.

 

Goodkind tapped a keg this afternoon. I was napping so missed the email. I would assume it is tapped, but could always call to ask.

 

At $11/pour- no thanks.

 

At that price, it better be a healthy pour.

 

Went to pick up the bottle I reserved at Ottos yesterday...only to be greeted by an entire 4 pack! Needless to say I was a happy camper

 

Here in Madison, one of the Hy-vees is auctioning off all there KBS. There are selling it in 4 packs and as of now you would need to bid at least $40 to get one, although it may go even higher. All proceeds over retail ($19.99), go to charity.

Do people like this idea? I know I passed since, to me, KBS isn't worth over $10 a bottle.
