My wife has, and uses pretty frequently since its one of her beer-store glasses, a laser-etched DFH glass. There have definitely been times when you could see the bubbles rising up straight from the laser-etching. I'd said it does actually work (and is based on good champagne glasses that are similarly etched). For beers that are particularly aroma based, it probably adds a bit to it.

de Garde really is awesome, isn't it? Just had the Imperial Black Raz Bu that my brother-in-law brought to a family gathering. So much fruit jammed into one bottle!

I have a etched Weyerbacher glass. If you pour 2 of the same beers beside each other, 1 in the laser etched and 1 in a standard glass, you will see the difference.

I'm not sure you can taste or smell it, though.

The jester head etched into the bottom of the glass does look pretty cool, also...

    It hit distro here yesterday.

It isn't super sour or super fruity, but it has enough of each. I'd have listed it in the top half of the selections.

Trade box arrived this morning from @Ncpogs . He asked for some of the JA framinghammer variants and I told him he could send whatever, knowing the box would be awesome. It was. Thanks Nick!

I agree with this, it had a touch of cherry flavor that was pretty nice.

It's not at all what I think of as a "traditional" gose, but after sampling a bunch at once, I'm learning that American goses by and large are much more accessible (ie far less sour/salty and just generally mild) than what I think of as a "traditional" one.

If you like Anderson Valley's Blood Orange Gose, and you like cherries, then go for it.

Well... They did it. Kane released Morning Bell bottles today.

Sons of bitches chose a holiday weekend that I am hosting. They say the they have a bunch, and expect it to last a couple weeks... I will be headed up next weekend with my wife(mule) in tow. 6/person, so unless I can round up a bonus mule, I expect to procure a case. I suspect I can spare a couple...

So if you are interested, and don't have another source, send me a BM. Once I have it in my hands, I'll determine how much I can spread around.

If it's what I think it is, that might just have warranted Prop as an extra

Yeah he's a guy who has hooked me up in the past and he needed it for a "whale" mead tasting so I hooked him up. It was a Berry White from Superstition Meadery, not HoD or anything

How about a little Saturday afternoon pron? Got a sweet haul from our own @rspauldi in the Stout IV BIF... I'll spare you the foreplay (it's in that thread if you care) and go straight to the money shot:
