Stout BIF Round 4 Hints & Hauls

I believe I received this box today. And if that's *just* box 1....sorry everyone else, I won the Stout BIF lottery.

 

Inspired by the incredible shipment I received today, packing up box #2 for @MCain04 ...a svelte 145 ounces of goodness. Box 2 of 3.

#VBS Thanks Chad. This is delicious, the perfect sweetness from the mango with the kick from the chillies. I don't think you could perfect this if you tried. And the wife likes it and she's just now getting into craft. BTW I just told her I'd be sending some $ when you're ready so she can know about some, and not the rest

Thanks @whyteboy003, in my opinion that's probably about the weakest beer of the lot, so if you enjoyed this, you're in for a lot of treats!

It's made with real mangos, and habanero peppers, and clocks in around 11%.

 

So my boxes landed in MI. Still no sight of the rainbow butterfly kitty.

 

Thought I'd share my experience since it's relevant. Two weeks ago I had a box make it to "on truck for delivery" for fedex, but was flagged for improper shipment and returned to me. I was thankful that I received the box intact with just a big red love note from Fedex, but I eventually did get charged for the shipment. I haven't asked for a refund since I'm not sure if i have a basis.

The eventual recipient said that he had the same thing happen the week before, so maybe it's the driver. I hope you get your box back safe!

#VBS What a great summer beer, prefect for the beach or out by the pool. Nice and light with a great pineapple/coconut nose. I think I prefer the mango but I'm a sucker for peppers.

@sandman3479 After a long investigation started by a suspicious noise coming from my cellar I have come to the conclusion that the Brewer's Brunch that I sent you might be infected and possibly a bottle bomb. Be careful!

Decided to bust into this massive stout box with Short's Brewing Cup a Joe coffee cream stout. Delicious as all hell; I could drink this all day. Went from a surprise, should-have-been-a-want to now a real want list staple going forward. I'm thinking @core42 did me right on this haul.

 

I signed up for a photobucket.com account (quick and painless). I also downloaded the app on my phone. I can take a picture with my phone and download it with a couple clicks. I then usually sign online to my photobucket account and copy the link to BA. Usually takes about 45 seconds from time picture is taken at most.
