Go To is my go to. I have yet to try Easy Jack on cans, but I remember finding the bottles kinda meh. DayTime is good.

Founders All Day IPA. It's a too easy go-to in Michigan

Pinner is the only one that I've tried so far that I've liked very much

Its interesting though as, over the course of the past two years or so I've watched the slow birth of the word "session" as a marketable trend. And it all went down on this site, kinda cool actually

Easy Jack is the best I've had.
Had Cross Bones by Heavy Seas the other day and was quite surprised how good it tasted.
Haven't had Pinner yet, but heard good things.

I'm actually drinking OB's Pinner right now. It's pretty damn good. I still think Stone's Go To IPA is the best I've had so far. Heard Ballast Points Even Keel is pretty good too.

You might be right on that.

Tried Carton Boat for the first time the other day. I don't know...it was okay but still had that same awkward bitterness that all session IPAs seem to have. I think I'd rather drink Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and just drink one less.

Had Pinner while watching the first day of the NCAA tourny. VERY GOOD. I also like Lagunitas.

Although I did enjoy Stone Go To when it first launched, it's pretty obvious that they tried to imitate Carton Boat, and yeah there's not even a comparison there.

I just wish Boat Beer was easier to find or Carton could increase their production output somehow.

I would say it's like a sessionable version of Heady Topper and it's sold the same way. Cold, and packaged in 16 ounce pounders.

Locally - I enjoy Black Rave's Son of Birdserker quite a bit.
Related, Fremont has a Session Pale that's fantastic, although I don't believe its canned or bottled yet.

The only session IPA I have tried is Easy Jack and I really enjoyed it. I plan on keeping that as a regular this summer.

To those who are simply hating on Session IPA's, the question is, "What's your favorite Session IPA?" not "Why do you dislike session IPA's?". There are many solid Session IPA's that are ideal for beer drinkers who want to enjoy hops without a lot of alchohol. Obviously, it's not as full in flavor as an IPA... anyone who sincerely appreciates craft beer can make that absurdly simple observation for themselves.

Hey guys.....I am just wondering which session IPA is best for when you want to kick back and put back a few. Mine personally would have to be Founders All Day. Cheers!
