Growler fill prices are pretty good. Does anyone know what they charge for the actual 64oz growler?

I apologize if this has already been covered in this thread. Reading through 42 pages is tough! Heading to other half on Thursday and would like to make the best out of the adventure. The only other place on the agenda as of now is Torst. Any other suggestions near OH would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

I would personally ignore Torst if you're doing OH. It's not close to OH and there are better bars in the city/area. Good swing is OH, Bar Great Harry, Threes and then all the good Park Slope bars. Including, but not limited to, Owl Farm, Mission Dolores, 4th Ave. Pub and Pacific Standard. Then just check the beermenus for each that Thursday - they keep them pretty well updated.

Threes Brewing is about a 20 minute walk from OH. They are putting out some solid brews and usually have a great taplist as well.

Thanks @Davidsoul and @SkiBum22 , I live an hour outside the city but don't make it in much so it's kind of a foreign world to me. These all sound like great suggestions. Are all these places walkable or would you suggest subway/cabs?

Threes and OH are walkable to each other. Torst is cab ride or G train ride to the other side of Brooklyn. It's in the Greenpoint neighborhood.

If not AGE, then Hop Showers.

Got to taste a home brew by new OH brewer Jesse Ferguson today called "Devil's Son". I believe the yeast was taken from Devils Advocate. Awesome stuff.

My brewing buddy told me there was someone there that told him Citra and maybe Nelson were dropping in 2 weeks? Not sure if this is correct.

Paid both OH and Threes a visit on Saturday - can echo a lot of the sentiments here. Easy walk from Threes to OH, and also stopped into the reclaimed wood/furniture shop on the way back from OH.

I liked everything I tried at OH, but for me the Brett Saison really stuck out. Picked up two bottles of it. Could've been that it was so different amongst the forest of hoppy beers, but I loved it.

Threes is also great and the food was excellent too.

    From Facebook:
We are making a maple sap beer from NYS Organic maple sap. A portion will be aged in Van Brunt whiskey barrels as well as a portion will be soured, blended and barrel aged with cider from our homies down at Millstone Cider. Can't wait!

Curious whether many people here have tried Greenbacks – to me, clearly one of OH's best so far and less aggressive than Green Diamonds or AGE. Seemingly a small batch so maybe it won't get much hype, but impressive stuff.

Yeah Greenbacks is delicious. Extremely small batch since it was brewed for Mission Dolores 5th anniversary. Proletariat in the EV has the only GB keg in Manhattan at the moment, so grab growlers at the tap room while you can!
