There is indeed a White Castle about a block or two from FFF (it's on whatever the main road in is). It's become a tradition for me and my gf to eat there on DLD, because it kind of completes the circle of classiness for the day. :stuck_out_tongue:

Perfect example! Keep doing what you're doing. Everyone appreciates your contributions.

No actual grown up response? Just type he's mad on the internet and hit enter. My 12 year old nephew does that too.

I thought this thread was about Dark Lord Day? Any word on the variants? I know last year around this time is when someone leaked pictures of Biggleswade. What do we know so far this year?

Look at page 3 (DL aged in Sherry) and page 39 (DL aged in congac barrel used for Black Hole Necromancer) of this thread for some possible variants this year.

Gotta assume Vanilla Bean will be there as well.

Planning on bringing a few things that I have saved up for DLD. Nothing too crazy...
    • Pipeworks Muderous
    • Pipeworks Coqui
    • Revolution 4th Year Beer
    • Parabola (?)
    • Oak Aged Yeti
Still sorting out everything I have, but these are what I had in mind as of now...

My brother and I are coming from NKY to stay at that Best Western and would love to meet up and share some bottles.

To my knowledge 18th Street isn't requiring tickets. But nothing says that won't change between now and the 24th. They just stated today on Instagram more news soon to come so we shall see.

I've read that SR-71 showed up on tap at Hunahpu's Day this year - I'm hoping it will appear at DLD as well. Really excited to see what beers are on the guest taps this year, and hoping to be toward the front of the lines when some Toppling Goliath/Pizza Port/Cigar City is tapped...

I hope Cigar City sends beers to DLD that are just as awesome as the ones 3 Floyds sent to Huna.

I know. And in return 3 Floyds sent Zombie Dust, Behemoth, and Big Tiddy Assassin. :-/

While I don't share the enthusiasm, there are plenty of people across the country that would die for some ZD, and I thought BTA was pretty decent.

But yeah, those are pretty low on the Whaleometer, so it'd be nice if FFF tried a little harder. Their Goose Island Stoutfest addition was friggin' Backmasking, while GI tapped '14 Prop and Vanilla Rye, 4 Hands tapped Madagascar, etc. They clearly aren't too worried about matching up outside their own fest.

Do they ever send BA Dark Lord variant kegs anywhere? I think they had 2005 or 2006 Barrel Aged Dark Lord at Great taste of the Midwest way back when.

Tickets will be required. I don't recall exactly but I believe Drew said $25.00 will get you a pour of each BA beer on tap and the ability to buy an undetermined amount of barrel aged bottles; depending on the yield.
