Looking forward to seeing a game at Safeco in a few weeks. Anyone know if they'll have Bale Breaker again this year?

If I'm sitting outside at a gam for 3-4 hours and its 85 degrees out..it's Old Style and Bud all the way. There's a time and place for everything in this life, and on a summer day at Wrigley, I can leave my craft beer ego at the door and just enjoy some ice cold Bud in the sun.

Can't say I agree with all of this, but beer and peanuts, I love it. Salted in the shell with a good beer (or even a bourbon and coke if its cold and they're playing football on the field). But it has to be salted in the shell. No one lets me throw the shells on the floor at home, but I can do that at the stadium.

Don't worry, if Coors light ever gets good, it'll get traded for some beers no one has ever heard of.

My baseball road trip this year (Marlins, Rays, Braves and Nationals) is a considerable step down in quality from last year beer wise unfortunately (White Sox, Twins, Brewers and Cubs).

    Damn.

That a shame. I went to AT&T for a game about 9 years ago and I thought they had a good selection (especially compared to St. Louis), SNPA, Lagunitas and Anchor at a lot of places all over the park. I was also impressed that they had stands with local restaurants serving up their specialties instead of just the normal ballpark fare.

Here is some of what Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati is offering this year. The National list could use some work, and there needs to be some more dark beer representation. Some porters would be welcome, especially for early season games. The greater Cincinnati area has a lot of quality breweries, it would be nice to see the "local" list include all of Ohio though. Even (gasp) Cleveland:grinning:. People coming from other cities should have the chance to try out some Fat Head's, Jackie O's, Columbus Brewing, etc... Pretty solid overall. Just a few of my recommendations they didn't ask for.

Wait, Bud Light is both global, and local? I are so confuse.

It is the "official" light beer of Ohio in general, but it didnt make much sense considering the AB plant is in Columbus. Sam Adams is more "local" than Bud Light since there is actually a brewery there. Truthfully, they should probably be offering more of their stuff considering the local economic impact. (and they sponser the largest Oktoberfest outside of Munich)

Even though Mariners Stadium has a great selection of craft beer, and not too terribly priced for stadium beer, Coors Light is the "official" beer of the M's. They sponsor a party deck where you can CL for $5. Yes, it is as full of Douchebros and Debutards as would expect.

I have to vote for my Padres. Along with the normal macro stuff, to have ballast point and stone at petco seems pretty cool to me. Hopefully they will even play some decent baseball this year!!

If you are going to see the Phil's, make sure your look up the "beer map" beforehand. A few of the better ones are only sold at select stands. Can make for a lot of thirsty-walking.

    p.s. this is it from 2014: http://www.crossingbroad.com/2014/0...mprehensive-citizens-bank-park-beer-list.html

Edit: it's been partially updated for 2015.

I don't know if it's already been said, but you can take your beers from The Public House to your seat in the stadium. Not familiar with the beers at other stadiums, but AT&T is pretty solid with The Public House brews and it's always different instead of the same flagship brews other stadiums carry.

    Not to mention RUSSIAN RIVER BLIND PIG IPA • Santa Rosa, CA • 6.1% • 16oz • 7.50 / 54oz • 25

    54oz for $25!

Yes, I understand that you can carry your beer elsewhere in the stadium. And no question that the Public House has a fine selection. But when I'm up in the upper deck at AT&T with kids, it's a long trek to get down to the Public House and back up to the seats, if I want a beer. I'm not complaining about the Public House; it's the rest of the ballpark that is lacking. I compare this to Safeco in Seattle, where there are craft beer taps all throughout the park, and any stand that has beer will have at least a couple of quality local micros, and the selection varies all over the park. That's what I think makes for good beer in a ballpark.

These are your best bets in South Philly: http://www.phillytapfinder.com/hood/south-philly/

The ones that are close to Broad St. will be easy to get to by taking the subway from the ball field. Just take it to Snyder Ave and walk from there.

Went to opening day at Nat's Park. The beer selection since the stadium opened has improved greatly. The local beer stands have offerings from DC Brau, 3 Stars, Atlas and Mad Fox. Red Porch has Allagash, Flying Dog, Ommegang, Sam Adams Nats 10th Anniversary IPA and many more. You can pick up SNPA all over the stadium along with Flying Dog Snake Dog 16oz cans. Also decent is the Sam Adams stand. Plenty to choose from this summer at Nats Park.
