You must be a masochist if you enjoy Shebeen.

I don't think "meh" constitutes enjoyment, but actually now that you mention it I must have been in a good mood that day because Shebeen is just awful.

Gotta show support for Steady Habit as well. I went there a couple weeks ago and was not disappointed. Looking forward to more.

Also, Kent Falls is on my radar... they sound like they've got some great plans

Last I checke don their blog, there is no tasting room or growler fills, and while they would like one, its not happening in the immediate future... hopefully theyll still do tours.

yeah, these guys have the right idea. CT really lucky, not just with beer, but with the attitude of brewers (outliers excepted; i'm looking at you shebeen).

kent falls is just a great idea, and i'm glad people are putting in the effort to make it a reality. the more conventional breweries like NEBCO and tiny upstarts like stubborn beauty and steady habit have all really exemplified the right attitude in my opinion; grow slowly, pay great attention to customer service and the quality of your product, etc.

planting good seeds yields good fruit. people complain that there's too many new breweries, but the more stuff like this we nurture into fruition, the more likely we are to end up with a really outstanding local culture. i mean, we're already there to a large degree, and it will only get better if stuff like this thrives.
