KBS vs. BCBS: Which is easier to get?

Not even close here in Mass. My store received 25 cases of BCBS and 2 KBS, 1 last year.

 

I got a 2 KBS.

12 BCBS.

I can still get BCBS any day of the week at a local spot.

 

BCBS and its not even close, considering I can walk into half a dozen stores around here and still pick up cases/4 packs of BCBS, but KBS was gone in less than a day.

 

Have never tried to get BCBS, but I only found 1 KBS last year and so far got 3 today at $5 each, with hopefully 3 more by days end!! Taking a Grunion Pale Ale break right now!!

 

BCBS was by far easier and worth the price compared to what places were selling KBS for

 

In this part of the world (North Shore of Massachusetts) you can still get BCBS pretty easily. I only got 1 KBS so far and I'm not incredibly hopefully I'll be able to find any more this year.

 

I was thrilled to get 4KBS last week, the base BCBS I get a case pretty regularly the last few Novembers. the variants, not so much.

 

Around here both are very hard. BCBS has always been limit 1, this year KBS was limit 2.

 

I voted for BCBS, I'm using the base beer, not the varieties

 

I'm sure it's been said but the better comparison would be kbs vs bcbcs. I was able to get a case of bcbs vs 10 bottles of kbs. Completely shut out on bcbcs.

 

My co-worker was able to grab me a 4 pack of KBS, it ran out the next day. I was able to get 12 bottles of BCBS not problem, bought 8 on Black Friday, then another 4 two weeks later.

 

Is there any left ?

 

I think the better question would be, "Easier to get, BCBS variants or KBS?"

 

Used to be BCBS by a mile (that picture from @malfunxion could have been taken at my local shop). The past 2 years the shop only got in 2 cases of BCBS. Combine that with the fact that everyone knows it's sold on Black Friday and you have a line 60 people long waiting at 8am for the sale of 2 lousy cases to begin.

With KBS, the decision of when to sell it is made at the last minute and only regular customers are likely to find out. I show up at 8am for KBS and there are 6 people in line.

What was the 4-pack price on those?

 

Most stores by me sold out of KBS within 2 hours. BCBS was still on the shelves for almost a month, that being said my distributor did not get any Vanilla Rye or BCBCS.

 

Going to agree on BCBS in NY area. Literally could have gotten as much as I could carry.

 

A lot of people in PA don't realize how unbalanced the BCBS distribution is, though. The western part of the state gets almost none. A handful of stores get one case, bottle limit one and they're gone in an hour.
