Stout BIF Round 4 Hints & Hauls

Quick caveat. I have enjoyed this BIF immensely. What other BIFs are out there I should not miss?

 

Same question. This has been my first BIF, and it's a blast.

 

There was just another BIF posted called can-cans or something like that. I'm not doing that one, but it looks fun.

 

Can-Can's is a new one that just opened for sign ups. There's always numerous Sports BIF's going on for major (and sometimes minor) sporting events. There will probably be a 12 days of Christmas style BIF in the summertime.

If you're really in to the BIF scene there are two ongoing threads out there. SWTFYW and The Locals started as a BIF like this but just never ended, still ongoing hundreds of pages in.

 

Ummm in Fairness SWTFYW is almost 75% of the way to the statement of multiple thousands of pages (Currently page 1479)... We're closing in on 60,000 posts

Love to hear that, my number one "want to" BIF is a locals mix.

You're more than welcome to join the Locals thread, it's embroiled in a little bit of a North vs South "war" at the moment but it's all in good fun. Basically if you pop in over there, read up on the history and get a lay of the land, then offer up a LIF you're pretty much in.

 

Drew, not sure if I love you or hate you! You f'ed up my porch, my wife is in pain from picking up your "15lb" box, and I'm exhausted opening it.

Truthfully, not sure how the hell you got them all in the box, had a tough time getting them out.

So, the first one I opened was this and I thought you were trying to tell me something...

This box reads like the whos who of small format stouts. Black Note might be my most favorite BA stout as well and I now get to try a 2012 bottle!!!

Wait, what!?! Are we not doing another one down the road. Please don't tell me this is where the "band" breaks up. I've had way too much fun to call it quits after this.

This. I'm very confident there will be a Round V, my guess is the end of summer or sometime in the fall. There will also be many other BIFs between now and then.

 

I see a box on its way from WI with signature required- going to re-route to a FedEx store if my sender is ok with that since there's nobody home during the day. Maybe I did figure out my sender........

 

I did Stout II and Stout IV. Wait til Stout VI to keep with the even trend?
