you're talking about the beer bar not quite inside the enclosure, right? top cutter was kicked by the 2nd inning.

also, what's that places deal? do you need to order food?

couldn't agree more about prima pils. i love all the local options, but prima pils is my go-to pilsner.

Nope, you can just walk in from either entrance and go straight to the bar and order. They always have a friendly bartender there.

so, to be very specific, inside the sliding doors and in the enclosed area?

Yez. It's on the back wall of the cafe. Can't miss it. Don't need any special ticket or reservation to enter.

Did anyone attend a Mariners game this past weekend? I'm hearing reports that a craft beer now costs $12!!! Can anyone confirm? I know I said above that I'm gonna drink beer at a Mariners game regardless but...

What I generally do is buy the cheapest ticket for the nosebleeds. Then, I just stand on the 100 level concourse, right behind home plate. The stand with cask, and Field 41, is right behind me. Not everyone wants to stand for 3+ hours, but it's OK with me.

Watching the King while drinking fresh cask ale and Field 41 at the ball park. Talk about fulfilling a bucket list fantasy.

Yes, it is true. Welcome to San Francisco North, everyone.

lol would like to quote myself from a year ago because I in fact had a very rude bartender at the hit here cafe on Friday, but they were pretty overwhelmed with the crowds. Most games there's no line at the bar up there, but it was almost out the door.

How much was beer last year? I thought it was rather expensive this year but couldnt remember how mich it went up. Beer is just about as much as a ticket...

I could swear it was no more than $10 for craft beer, but I could be wrong.

That seems about right to me. I only made one game, and the number $9.50 is what was in my head, but $10 is probably more accurate.

$11 is mentioned in post #3. Probably goes up a buck every year.

Whoops didn't see that. At least there is an exceptional variety. I was at Fenway last September and it was even more expensive and the options were boring.

Think I may go tonight, only $11 bleacher tickets!

It's been between 5 and 6 years since I've been to a game at Safeco (I was with my bro', and I think his 6-yr old daughter was about 6 mo. old then), but I seem to remember a Redhook ESB was something like $9 then (we pre-func'ed at Elysian Fields beforehand, which seemed a lot more reasonable).
