moustache makes beer taste metallic

Sounds like you are failing at craft beard.

Maybe you should scale the 'stache back to a creepy little John Waters type number and see if that helps.

If you have to ask "how to beard?", you should not beard. Drinking the nectar that my glorious mustache demands to inspect is a glorious second drink of beer.

 

If the lips are flaming it can make clouds taste metallic, but I've never heard that for beer.

 

This could very well be a medical related problem as well. Don't rule that out.

 

This forum isn't helping me make up my mind on doing Movember.

 

The only thing I dislike is having to keep a napkin ready at bars because the stache retains more than it should.

 

Could be the oil from lip hair. Not to be mistaken for hair lip which creates a whole other problem for a beer drinker.

 

Time to start drinking those Porters and Stouts with a straw.

 

I don't always always have a mustache, but when I do I make sure my beer still tastes good. Stay thirsty my friend
