Stout BIF Round 4 Hints & Hauls

First box is away. Its a heavy one. Others will follow.

 

As my wife and I were headed out to Coppertail Brewing for a tasting, the FedEx guy was just pulling up. Appears to be a heavy box from cheese country. We will tearing into this box Sunday morning like it was Christmas morning. Can't wait!

 

I've had my target's box set and ready but because of work I haven't been able to drop it off. Will go out Monday. I know it's after the time frame but I'm hoping my target forgives me once he sees the contents. It should travel I-80 all the way there for the most part.

 

Eta on box 2 is Tuesday.

18th Street Hunter. The base beer for the variants I believe.

 

Not sure if my target has finally singled me out, but his haul is departing Monday. Should land midweek.

I hope it held up okay. That was canned over a week ago.

 

Much better than okay. That stout has an outstanding combination of smoothness and very prominent coffee flavor.

Not sure of the ABV, but it seemed high enough that that plus the drinkability definitely puts it into the "somewhat dangerous" category. :-)

 

11% so you're quite right. Way too drinkable for 11%.

 

Sorry for the delayed Box 2 pRon, but a beer fest and resulting hangover got in the way. But I did crack this one open from Box 1 while opened up box 2:



And box #2 from @Yohann is just as awesome as the first. Again, really glad I figured you out and liked your post of "Hope my target likes verticals"

CW BB Stout 12, 13, 14 - I had one in the 12 Days BIF and loved it and have been thinking about trading more more. Want.
CW BB Cherry Stout 13, 14 - same as above. Want.
Expedition 11, 12, 13, 14 - this beer one of my biggest permawants. So soild. Cant wait for the day I crack all four of these open.

@CTJman Here's your 2nd box that my daughter and I finished packing together. I will say that there's boxes inside boxes for good reasons, one which has a small ice pack (for real). Its going out tomorrow and should be there on Wednesday. I hope I did you right on this one and it was a pleasure being your sender. I had a $hit ton of fun!!!

@luwak just checking in, I can get your boxes out this week if you want, to arrive end of the week, or I can wait until early next week to send. I know you mentioned something along the lines of "the later the better", so your call. I think you saw me mention there's nothing but stouts/porters, so no hops to worry about.
