SA just announced in newsletter that it will be out Monday. As awinkro posted, Pumpkinator aged in bourbon barrels for over seven months. Woodford Reserve and Willett barrels and blended prior to packaging.

Does anybody have any idea where they are releasing this next week?

Saint Arnold Brewing Company Bishop's Barrel #9 Release INFO

Here is the information that everyone has been asking for. STA BB #9 will be released this Monday 4/13. We will have a 3 bottle limit, 2 bottles togo 1 for here. You do not have to buy all 3 if you want you can just buy the 2 togo. All bottles will be $8.

For all you 9 to 5ers we will save some for you too. We will sell 2/3 of our allocation starting at 3pm the other 1/3 will go on sale at 6pm that way everyone gets a shot at the beer.

Once you buy your beer we will stamp your hand, take your finger prints, require a blood sample and have you sign a contract to insure that everyone gets a chance to buy. Or we just trust that the people who got the chance to buy at 3pm will let other people get a chance to buy at 6pm. We like option 2 the best, less work for us.

Saucer Downtown - available when they open

I loved the Hay Merchant release this time around. Showed up about 5, grabbed a seat and got my three bottles. Really no line either, of coarse there was the mess of a line early on, but that all cleared out quickly. Then it was easy as can be for the normal people to just order a bottle or get the limit to go.

Spoke with one of the employees there. Apparently it was a mess for a moment so they decided to release more of what they had planned hence easing the flow and allowing more people to get the beer versus their initial allocation.

Have to give them big props for settings it up in this fashion - something more places could consider doing given they receive a decent size allotment.

I didn't really care for having to drink the 3rd one on the spot to get it. It really wasn't the style I was looking for on a warm (ok pretty much hot) afternoon. I'd have really rather saved it for later (in the year).

Nope, didn't miss it, just didn't care for it. I get that they wanted people to hang around. That's cool. It'd have been nice if they would let us buy something else to drink there instead.

You didn't have to buy the one to drink there. You could have just bought 2x to go and drank anything you wanted to at the bar.
