You as a Texan gotta say numerous things. I gotta say that I'm going to say that Founders gotta be glad you didn't boycott based on one beer.

I'd say Shiner. I enjoyed Holiday Cheer but nothing else seems to go well with my beloved pork rinds.......

DFH is certainly my most extreme love/hate relationship with a brewery.

More important, all you Backwoods haters need to send me you leftover bottles so I can give them a good home :grinning:

Leinenkugel for me. I enjoy most of their offerings but scratch my head at how some (I'm looking at you, Berry Weiss) are still in the lineup. But, no brewery can get them all right. As much as I enjoy Founders, Schell's, Surly etc., they've all got hits and misses. Sierra is probably one of the only brewers where I can say I've never had one of their beers make me say "I'm never drinking that again!"

Mikkeller for sure, I've given a very wide range of ratings from 1.55-4.67 and 82 others somewhere in between.

You like we needed industry posting rules b/c certain beer reps were spamming the board we obviously need more rules for the mighty BBQ corn nuts lobby.

    Yeah, Backoods Bastard is amazing!

As to the OPs question, my response is: pretty much every brewery. There is not one brewery out there where I love every beer they make. Every brewery has hits and misses. Because we're talking about Backwoods Bastard (BB) I'll use Founders as an example. I love Founders RIS, DB, BB, and BS, but I'm not a huge fan of any of their IPAs, but that's because I'm not a fan of IPAs much at all; in fact IPAs, goze and sours are my least favorite styles, to he point where I try to avoid them.

Tried as I might (via bottles, cans, and draft), I just do not enjoy Sculpin / Grapefruit Sculpin. VaS, on the other hand, is simply amazing. So, a vote for Ballast Point.

I think every brewery has a few hits and misses. I think anyone would be hard pressed to find a brewery where they love every single beer produced. Im a huge fan of Carton but didn't really enjoy their SS Kentuckian at all.

I'd have to say, New Glarus.

Thumbprint Cherry Stout was one of the worst beers I have ever had, while Wild Peach was one of the greatest.

Of course. I hate wit's and hefe's. So that is my blanket for all breweries. But if i had to name some for other beers....

All of them! I seriously cannot think of one brewery that doesnt have at least one miss for me.

I've heard similar things from several people. I've met a couple people locally who refuse to buy their beer for the same reason, which is a bit much IMO, but hey. But I'm pretty new to craft beer, and their brewery isn't too awful far away. So when I started reading up on all the hyped beers, seeing what everyone was saying was the best, 3F kept popping up on lists. I don't have anything against them as a brewery or a business because I don't really know much about them in that respect.

Sure. I'd say that's the case with most breweries. I've grown to be really picky about what types of IPA I enjoy, so I probably dislike about 1/3 of the ones I try. I don't hold it against anyone, it's just my personal taste. As a result there are plenty of 5-star breweries that have beers I don't like.

Riverhorse here in Nj is pretty hit or miss with me.

Stone I do like a lot of their beers. Some of my favorites are stone . But once in a while I just will really dislike something they make.

Dogfish head as others have said. Some of the more weird stuff is just well weird.

Sam adams. Don't mind a handful of their beers while others (cherry wheat comes to mind) are kind of nasty
