    Ok, so I was approached to start a beer blog with some folks. More accurately, some folks are starting a beer blog and asked me to write & be involved creatively. My first post was: http://carolinabrewreview.com/paste-magazine-is-drunk/

    This thing is still young and I'll definitely be trying to take it unique directions. I've already got some ideas, but will take some time to iron out. If you've got any feedback, I'd love to hear it in a BM fo sho. It will be NC centric but "reviews" will be all NC distro. There will be brewery tours/interviews/behind the scenes, etc and most likely podcasts at some point.

    In the meantime, you twitter folk follow @ncbeerreview & hit us up.

    @RayOhioFelton, the reason I was asking about the White Rajah dating is that Paste article named WR the #1 IPA out there and I wanted to taste it next to some NC IPAs at similar age.

    Yeah they don't do dates but I just bought it from one of the stores that has pretty quick turn over so I assume it is pretty fresh.
    Traded a cherry ryes, 2011-2014 bcbs vert, 2014 bcbcs and 2013 bcbbw. Of course I then threw in extras. I need to just stop for a while. Either that or build more shelves for the beers in the basement.

    WR is good, but it's laughable to say it's the #1 IPA.

    Yeah, the point of my post was to point out how trying to blind taste test 116 IPAs is just an idiotic undertaking. I can't think of any way to do that well and accurately.
